I don't know why over the top action is being praised. Uncharted is a series that needs good pacing. You just shoot and shoot and shoot, other things need to be thrown in, so the gameplay doesn't become stale. In Drake's Fortune, Naughty Dog knew when to throw in climbing, puzzle solving and waterskiing(?) which is what made it great. The next two Uncharted games don't have that pacing and that's why they aren't as great as the original.
guys i have a problem in multiplayer. often it would just get me out of the game and it says: you were removed from the game. and also the internet connection signs pop up only in uc3. all my other games work fine in multiplayer but not this one. does anyone know the problem??

Is it just me? Yes it's visually stunning but apart from that the gunplay is awful, the enemies run around in circles right in front of you as you shoot them and then run to a corner and wait to be shot, the camera angles as you run make it impossible to see where you're supposed to go and the climbing is ridiculous. It's too over the top and frankly becomes dull very quickly. I am a fan of Uncharted and I love Naughty Dog, but Uncharted 3 is a disappointment.
@poopamultimatepoopy what makes you say that they are done with uncharted? they still have Unchated golden abyss for the ps vita, and if we look at the sales and the reviews on this game, it will be a uncharted 4, trust me no doubt. I actually liked the melee combat. Made a change from the constant shooting parts. Not that I don't like them. Good review and even better game. 10/10 for me. Loved it.
Sully has had his biggest impact on the game since the Uncharted franchise started. Come on, to save him, you get held hostage in a shipyard, escape onto a cruise liner only to find he is not there, jump off it titanic style, infiltrate a plane and bring it crashing down, wander a desert for eternity, stumble across a village and pwn noobs, get saved by a horse, eventually find Sully and pwn more noobs, and after all of that, he is simply shot in the back and "dies". Emotion = infinite.

I'm sorry but the story in this game was shit. There is absolutely no defending it. I love UC so much, UC2 is probably my favorite game of all time, but this game pales in comparison in terms of the story. Everything is fine outside of the story, but the story itself is full of holes and is just ridiculous. End of story.

I was a little disappointed in uncharted 3. It felt like a more as uncharted 2.5 and not a fully fledged title. I mainly blame Sony on behalf of this pushing ND into something they didn't require and don't even get me started on that boring multiplayer. Had a slow start... but it kept building and building to the point that I couldn't stop playing. I started playing at 9pm and finished at 9 am ... All I can say is Wow. Enjoyed it immensely

@narutoguerra Indeed, Wii has games like The Legend of Zelda, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and the countless Mario games for it. Wii essentially created more the whole wireless gaming concept and PS3 and 360 followed after, though Kinect can use the whole body though I have seen it can be troublesome sometimes trying to get the sensor to always recognise your body there.

The 360 Kinect is sorta cool, but I would rather use a controller with motion controlling instead of my hands and/or voice. Also sony and microsoft got the concept of motion controlling from nintendo. Nintendo made those power gloves and headsets back in the 90s if im correct. I was born in the early 90s, so I don't know much of gaming then.

I'm sorry but the story in this game was shit. There is absolutely no defending it. I love UC so much, UC2 is probably my favorite game of all time, but this game pales in comparison in terms of the story. Everything is fine outside of the story, but the story itself is full of holes and is just ridiculous. End of story.

@kirbyza bullshit. this is a VIDEO GAME not a fucking novel in english class. Nobody wants to sit around and guess at what the major plot details are, you want to actually know wtf happens. You arent smart for guessing what happened, everybody can guess that Drake and Elena had problems and separated and that Talbot was wearing some bulletproof vest, but who the fuck wants to? Why couldn't they take maybe 5 extra mins to explain some basic shit? It was a shitty story end of discussion

I was a little disappointed in uncharted 3. It felt like a more as uncharted 2.5 and not a fully fledged title. I mainly blame Sony on behalf of this pushing ND into something they didn't require and don't even get me started on that boring multiplayer. Hopefully, ND will be focusing now on upcoming projects i.e. ps4

Ok one, am I the only person that enjoys all consoles? Not favoring ps3 over Xbox or Xbox over wii or wii over pc. Their all great gaming systems and to be honest more people need to be all console gamer. It would creat a hell of a lot less fighting.
Two, looks like the best game ever. I can't wait to get it!

Great review. Keep up the good work. I can't believe how cynical people are here. I felt like I was part of the story as I was playing it.... Best yet. Had a slow start... but it kept building and building to the point that I couldn't stop playing. I started playing at 9pm and finished at 9 am ... All I can say is Wow. Enjoyed it immensely

@narutoguerra Indeed, Wii has games like The Legend of Zelda, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and the countless Mario games for it. Wii essentially created more the whole wireless gaming concept and PS3 and 360 followed after, though Kinect can use the whole body though I have seen it can be troublesome sometimes trying to get the sensor to always recognise your body there.

@Absolution171990 Yeah the Wii has the best exclusives games because everyone as gamer's grew up with them for the past 25 years. The 360 Kinect is sorta cool, but I would rather use a controller with motion controlling instead of my hands and/or voice. Also sony and microsoft got the concept of motion controlling from nintendo. Nintendo made those power gloves and headsets back in the 90s if im correct. I was born in the early 90s, so I don't know much of gaming then.
