Amazing speciment you got there! They are one of my favorites malawi predators as well. How long did it take for him to reach that size after he was at 5 inches or so? I am saying that because I have a wild pair at 5" now.

@UScarsarethebest I dont know exactly, but I guess this one was about 2 years old where I filmed it.
He is 3 years old now and about 30 cm long (=12 inch). I have 2 of them in the same tank with also 2 females. No problems.
