@guitar20063 pause at 13:30 for the current tree :) She might have updated it though, and I find that blessed resilience is good for pvp-like situations, but not for raids... it is not beneficial in raids I find, although I might be wrong.

im making a lvl 57 holy priest by pugging and without renew and power word shield id burn mana so quick, luckily im super high on combat mana renew,

Chakra is fantastic when linked to chastise , as you have an instant 2k heal every 15 secs....so my tip for anyone low lvl who is pug healing keep shield on tank always and keep renew on hi dps or ninja tanks...youll also wast a lot of flash heal and shields on ninja tanks who will blame you when they run out of range and die :O)

I think you downplay renew too much. I haven't played in a while but I heard that spells such as heal renew renew on a target, so essentially you would get two spells for the price of one.

@RFXCGZZ This was made after Cata released - at which point it was a terrible, terrible spell. They about halfed the mana cost and buffed it since, so now it is usable again (as the annotation says).

Holy priest is just amazing. Like you said, no other class has some of the skills a holy priest has. Prayer of Healing can be compared to Wild Growth, except Wild Growth is a Hot and PoH is a direct heal.

I find it interesting how i play my priest completely different to you and look for different stats but it still seems viable. I use inner will, stack spirit/mastery followed by haste and int if i they are my only options. I generally use all my spells in raids but throw in a lot of renews and flash heal rather then greater heals. Im just hoping this strategy will be as viable for 25mans as it is for 10mans as i am yet to try 25man.

@velkerithemage Healers are not like dps, you don't need to "pull" any hps. All you have to do is keep people alive for the duration of a fight. Healing is reactive, there shouldn't be a rotation. You chose the spells you use based on what damage needs to be healed or prevented at the time.

Thanks for this guide! The wotlk one helped me to finetune my priest and this one helped me aswell. Although with recent patch I feel that healing has become even easier. More powerful heals and still a lot of mana regen.
