  • Pastrick with his corrupt ass, let east chicago go down in the dumps. Keeping all the money for hisself, instead of putting it back into the city. Even the corrupt PABEY!!! When will calument be back how it use to be?????? We as a minority need to start more businesses instead of pulling the rest of the city down.

  • Hey Neighbor I like your video it would be awesome too see East Chicago in the past with no abandoned homes or abandoned companies your video has me thinking alot now

  • Grandfather worked at Inland for 37 years, starting right after WWII. Lived in Roxana....Reading Avenue 46312.

  • The Harbor sure has a heck of a history. Grew up there in the 50,s and 60,s. My dad worked at Youngstown for 30 yrs. I worked at Inland for 36, recently retired. The Harbor sure has changed over the yrs. Michigan Ave. sure used to be such a busy area, bars, theaters. stores. hotels, restaurants, clothing stores. It's kind of sad it's all gone. If the song is dreary I think it's to the point.

  • both my grandfathers worked for inland my dad worked for ltv and inland and still works at the inland plant it is now arcelor mittal.. i also work there now haha.. yes it saddens me to think how this place once housed hardworking americans who took pride in their work. now when i drive to work i see the downfall of a once proud industrious country everyday .oh and dont forget the pimps and hookers on michigan ave at 5am and everything else those dirty people brought to ruin a historical place

  • well done,

    rest in peace rough riders

  • I like this video ,my family worked

at u.s.steel.its humbling to see this video I miss home,I am in iraq right now,

  • I am 19 years old and have worked in the east chicago inland steel plant for over a year now... my family has worked in this mill for 3 generations and this video pays tribute to those that have worked here and all steel workers everywhere.. stay safe guys !

  • Interesting images. But god, what a dreary, pretentious song!

  • Yea that looks like East Chicago all right expecially the last couple images
