  • in that position where it got started and look what came out

  • This birth is so much gentler than others where mom is flat on her back. Good job mom, for finding a provider who would let you do what was best for you!

  • / O /

  • what the fucking position.

  • LOL i agree thats really fucked if you ask me

  • wow people are fucked...

  • Excellent, best position to give birth, but some doctors don't like because is less convenient for them. and not for the mom or baby. Congratulations.

  • nice

  • actully...thats one of the best positions to give birth

  • u should know

  • it's easier on your hands and knees, because it puts less pressure on your back. Most woman can't see anything lieing on their back, either, due to the big belly ;)

  • Actually I gave birth on my back as I was in too much pain for any other position, when I was in labour the midwife brought in a large mirrior on wheels(kinda like a half a metre long portable whiteboard idea) so I could watch the process, quite facinating! I gave birth at KEMH

  • I Cant Wait To Give Birth.. I Hope Its As Clean As This One! Im Having A Boy :)

  • congrats

  • that position is the best to give birth in. i wish they could suggest that position to more women giving birth. it is definitely the one position giving least pressure (least pain) but yet helping the baby out.

  • so quick n easy

  • wow that looked so easy & comfortable.. great job...

  • The position is awesome.

  • WOW

  • waaaaaaw i can't belive that

  • If you give birth at 36 weeks, do they keep your baby until you would've been at 38 weeks gestation?

I'm almost 36, I'm 35 and 5 days, and I'm having alot of Braxton Hicks and he's dropped and I think I may be slowly losing my mucus plug...

But I don't want to have my baby too early and end up having to leave him in the hospital for 2 weeks....

  • So long as your baby is healthy and doesn't have any breathing problems (which is the concern because the lungs are the last to mature) you will not have to leave him! I had my 1st at 36 weeks and she went home with me!

  • No...I've had my daughter a couple wks early...baby is ready for delivery btwn 36-40 weeks. you're good!

  • Generally no, some babies born at 36 weeks are just as healthy and of the same size as those born at 40 weeks and beyond. Different hospitals have different policies, but you should be fine. Also, some women will lose their mucus plug little by little starting a month before the baby is born. It's just your body preparing.

  • If he's healthy and strong enough to go home they will let you take him home... Depends if he can breathe alone and doesnt need help with anything :) Good luck!

  • it,s good news for me! that was my first time i see live borning.

  • push push

  • wow, the one who assist to give birth must be good. that is quiet hard to do. amazaing...

  • muito fraco esse video

  • Horrível!!!!!

  • god, that doctor was holding the baby upside down and the baby was on its head! I would sue!

  • i have a niece called Finnley who is 3 months and a nephew called McKien who is 4

  • Every birth is different. The mother should be given the opportunity to get into the position that works best for her, and it isn't always the same for her for each child.

  • wooow..!! i didnt know u could give birth on ur hands and knees...thats new to me

  • It's awesome!

  • im criying

  • poor kid born backwards andupside down!!!!!!!!!11

  • its very hard to become a mother...

  • I never had a baby on that position. Is it easier or more difficult due to the way of gravity. Has any one out there had an experience on both on the back and on hands and knees. Which is easier by the way?

  • i was told by some midwifes that laying on your back while pushing the baby out isn't the optimal postion to be in to give birth. i'm planning on giving birth on my side.

  • Lying down slows the birth.

This position is good for back labour & speeds things up a bit.

  • I've had four births and I can promise you that hands and knees is more comfortable since you can keep moving around. You should be free to choose the best position - upright is really good too.

  • Due to prom situation? Did she want to have the kid before going to the prom?

  • PROM stands for 'premature rupture of membranes' aka the water bag breaking.

  • 0:02

  • What lovely music so calming that really is AMAZING...

  • I know right, makes me sleep. Wish I knew what it was called.

  • lmaoooo

  • grow up.

  • wonder if that was how it was conceived lol just kidding

  • magnifikk <3

  • Amazing! I'm so glad that I can see this. My sister is having her baby anyday and I have to record it!

  • Lovely, and what a beautiful healthy baby. I too delivered on my hands and knees for both my labours and definitely recommend it!

  • man i could never film my own birth the hospital had a mirror for those who wanted to see themselves giving birth and i thought oh cool, but when the day came i was like Oh Fuck NO

  • She made it look so easy.

  • Wtf? Put the baby right on its head why don't chya. Jeez.

  • i've never heard of a woman giving birth on her hands & knees before, but congratulations!

  • i dunno..i think she could of done a betta job in holdin the head lol

  • Comment removed

  • its not easy to have a baby.

  • wtf the babys neck HELLO it was all dangling n shit wtfs wrong with this medical team

  • cool look easy

  • ive seen alot of these birthing video on youtube and sum of them i really really .. kind of fringe @ .. im actually glad i had a c-section .. but seein da oda videos made me kindof scared to have anoda baby .. this actually looks ezier ..

  • thanks for posting this. this is how i gave birth at home to my 2nd child in 2000. it is so rare to see this form of birth portrayed in the media :) Blessings and Beauty!

  • yea ma mum has had 8 homebirth, her first at 16! mi sisters and i were there 4 her 3 younger children! each of us were there for each birth! so mi 4 older sisters were their at mi birth and we were all at mi 2 wee sisters and mi baby brothers! im 15!

  • Never seen this type of birth before. Interesting! Thank you for posting. My wife is pregnant so I will suggest this if you say its easier.

  • No, it was not necesary, but i decided to share because i love other birth videos. Many women choose this position, it is very easy way to give birth. Yes, births can look strange to people who have not seen them before. Belive me, this one is pretty modest ;)

  • Dang, the nurse kinda dropped the baby on it's head when it came out..what's up with that?! Geez..talk about not paying attention!

  • No, it didnt look that to me at all. There is a lot going on, and remember the umbilical cord it still attached inside the mom. So it looks like the mom wants to kneel up and see the baby, so the nurse/dr moves the baby between her legs and mom proceeds to kneels up straight. Nothing about "not paying attention." We dont hear whats being said in the room, maybe mom said "put her in front of me." Either way, the nurse never dropped the baby, and always has hold of her. Just the way I see it!

  • you can actually see the baby being propped up on his neck (like a leg on a camera tripod) for a second or two. Given that babies necks are weak, this is dangerous.

  • I see what your referring to, but I dont see it as alarming. It's the way the baby was laid down and then moved in between the mom's legs. All the baby's weight wasn't put on her neck, the nurse had her held and supported her weight. Just a difference of opinion here :)

  • Yes, this is what happend, the midwife wanted to give the child to me, she put her down and slided her between my legs, at the same time the doctor (woman in blue) asked if she was fully born. The midwife looks at the clock on the opposite wall and announced time of birth.

  • The nurse had her fully supported. The nurse did not drop her.

  • how many births have u seen? i just like when stupid ppl start makin stupid comments. you and all others, oh u r very experienced ppl, maybe we should take ur advice.. wtf, clueless!!

  • I don't like it when stupid ppl make comments either. Hint, hint!

  • yeah, now we just have to determine who's making them, don't we?! so, think twice. i was particularly pissed by the guy who wanted to sue.. i'm sorry if the reply went to 1 person only.

  • Do we? Like the ol' saying goes, I calls em as i sees em. That baby was on its NECK for a second. I've NEVER seen any nurse/midwife ect. NOT support a baby's neck, when it is being birthed (especially to let it just slide out w/ no support). It reminds me of on of the old Goofy cartoons. I don't know about the suing part (if no damage is done) but I little care goes a long way.

  • @soundsfromnothing

ikr ; that is crazy ; isaw this 1 wen the midwife lady was hold.n the baby upside dwn by its legs ; for like ah lonq time it seem like ; that is crazy ;iwud of been mad

  • my son was born this way at home 22yrs ago..it was painless for me..the labor was painful but not the birth

  • she doesnt look like she is in pain

    or struggled at all

    kool

  • you are ridiculous people choose to be MIDWIVES beacause they want to help people god! she would be a prostitute f she wanted to feel people. and i think the birth was beautful,, very quick and easy(: wish my birth was like this one! lol(:

i have had twins by the way born on the 5th october 08. if you would like to see some pics just message me kaiiixxx well done to the lady!!!(:(: qazwsxedcrfvOP09,, get a life!

  • What you can see of me in this video is the same you can see of me on a beach. If i was wearing a thong. You cannot see my vagina, not my pupic hair, no blood is visible, no pain, just one yell to cheere the baby out. I love watching other birth videos, this is the miracle of life. I don't understand why people share their doggy style videos, but i don't judge them. Or those who watch them. Sorry to disappoint you, but the title was pretty clear ;)

  • your soo right! great video also

  • i would really love to know what you did cus dat was fast and look easy how what you ate damn everything.(lol) you had it well it look easy for real

  • The baby was only 36 weeks. (Small)

  • Not necessarily small - the dates could have been wrong too. I think that the birth looked good because the mother was free to choose a position that was comfortable for her - hands and knees is usually the best, not lying on your back so that the doctor has an easy job!

  • nagoshi01 GET A LIFE

  • Thank you. Find a gym in your neighborhood and you get one as well :)

  • OUCH!...but lovely...

  • What do you mean by "prom situation"?

  • My plan was to give birth at home, but my water broke before the pregnancy was full term. Premature Rupture Of Membranes (PROM). Not the dance held at the end of an academic year also known as PROM :)

  • This is awesome.

I have read about this position at giving birth, and I would love to use it, when I have my children. For some reason, it looks more natural, and easier for the baby's exit from the womb. Very nice.

  • What a lovely birth! It is nice to see someone who isn't flat on their back hooked up to an epidural!!
