"Denial of. It should be clear that, if one mans rights are denied, the rights of all are in danger—that if one man is denied equal protection of the law, we cannot be sure that we will enjoy freedom of speech or any other of our fundamental rights." -Robert F Kennedy, Address, joint Defense Appeal of the American Jewish Committee and the Anti-Defamation League of Bnai Brithh, Chicago, Illinois, June 21, 1961
You were not breaking any laws, they were in violation of the US Constitution. I commend you for standing your ground and not allowing them to intimidate you. Well done.
See my playlist "Free Man: Robert Arthur Menard, Darren Pollard, Adam Davis."
US President John F Kennedy said 10 days before he was assassinated, "The high office of President has been used to foment a plot to destroy the Americans' freedom, and before I leave office I must inform the citizen of his plight."
Young man I wish to tell you now that I am proud of you. You have not done what is popular and you have flown in the face of the majority but you have done what is right by questioning those who would take away your right to speak out. Freedom of speech is not simply a right , it is a sacred obligation that we each have as Americans. I fear however that to often we trade in this right because we are to frightened to do otherwise.
You realize the first couple of minutes made me think, "Hey, this is kind of what he would do if he wanted to kill the President." Its the Secret Services job to protect the President. How is any of this surprising, novel or really in violation of your rights? There are many, many times when rights or privileges are curtailed for the benefit of the public good.
NEVER in the history of the United States has an assassination attempt been made from a protester group. Your comment makes no sense. As a protester, you're trying to draw attention to yourself. As an assassin, you'd try to remain unnoticed. What you're advocating is a violation of the Constitution. And isn't that the real danger, people who are willing to trade freedom for security? Pretty cowardly...
You are right, cops and secret service agents do not get to make up the law. Declaring a public sidewalk as private property at whim is a serious. It's a shame that these cops and secret service agents do not realize that it is "their" rights and freedoms that are being trampled upon. They will lose too.
well, if you really wanted to do something, you would join Ron Paul's movement. Jesus, everyone complains but no one understands that Ron Paul is the only person for changing these things.
I have a feeling without that camera, you would have beaten to one inch of your life, then sent to the razor wire cages. With that said, I can see their point. They are the "secret service", kinda hard to stay secret with your mug plastered all over youtube.
you dumb asses, you have no rights, you have no say in any thing what so ever, dont you remember, your generation didnt learn the constitution and now you have no rights. you gave it away by voting incorrectly for decades. directly because the masses dont read. WELCOME TO THE NEW WORLD ORDER.
Who knows..he's may be a cop, there are lots of cops who go into that profession to exercise their right to violate people's freedom,to have a power trip. But To all the Good Cops: Respect!
If they were honest about it, it would make sense, but they dance around the reasons like it's some sort of secret. Yes, it's their job to protect the president, but why don't they just say that.
Also, I agree, it's public property, he should be allowed to stand there.
Yeah, so he's on public property. What exactly did he do wrong? The police were intimidating him to do something he does NOT have to do. How is he supposed to leave that area without violating their temporary rule? It's completely circular. You're doing the right thing in my opinion. They're the ones who don't know what they're doing.

Cops do not get to make up LAW as they go.
They must enforce LAW and work within LAW. They Don't. This is a huge fucking problem. Our Constitution is in the toilet. Get it?
