@loopba the omega vrt is the same module as the Hurom, just 10 years warranty (which is totally worth it in my opinion), the Hurom company made some specific nutrient tests: slowjuicer com /slowjuicer-4.html
@DarthHuru Hi, depends what you consider to be better, some people consider faster = better, some cleaner juice = better, others are looking for easier cleaning and better juice yield.. let us know what is most important for you. Omega VRT is faster, delivers pulpier juice. Omega 800X is easier to clean and delivers cleaner juice.
@euJUICERScom I'm also considering angel 7500, but due to its cost I would have to wait few months, is juice from angel 7500 much better that from omega 8006 ?
@DarthHuru Hi, the difference is unnoticable. If you want clear/better juice and you plan to juice more leafy greens you should rather go with 800X. This juicer does better job with leafy greens. If you prefer faster processing and do not mind a bit pulp in your juice you might be happier with VRT.
@schnor88 Yeah, we were quite pleased with the results as well. One tip though, the juice is much better if you get rid of as much "white webbing" as possible. One thing I do at home is to cut it in 1/4 and then submerge it under water, breaking out the little juicey gems with my thumbs. This keeps everything really clean and the white webbing floats to the top where the seeds will drop to the bottom of the water!
@jenn198310 We havent tested these head to head so it's hard to say.. we expect the results will be close when it comes to juice yield as we have tested the vertical juicer against other well known twin gear juicers.
@krzifngrs so you are saying that a centrifugal juicer with approx 10.000 RPMs is better than a cold juicer such as the VRT. You must be a real juicing pro there!
@lunakaefi bro if you find anything to be better than the breville 800jexl,god bless you, i juice cilantro every morning straight up i grow in my backyard and the pulp is almost dry, theres nothing i can imagine works like this, the vert is a toy made for little bedwetters,i like driving machines that weren't constructed in a sweatshop by children chained to their workpost. lots of fun with your toy
@krzifngrs more fun with your oxidized juice! Tell me your juice doesnt have brown foam almost instantly after juicing and you will not only convince me that you are a beginner with juicing but all others who do juice and read this. If you are happy with it, more power to you. Those who know better, know that juice from a centrifugal juicer is better than industrial store bought juice but the same world of difference happens between a centrifugal and a cold juicer. Fact.
@lunakaefi dude what do you work for vert ,who cares, my life doesn't revolve around your lifestyle ,i use my juice with love and enjoy what i drink , so i am sorry to upset you, what brown foam are you speaking of i have no foam, my raw vegan lifestyle doesnt allow me to give two shits about someone who just broke into a healthy lifestyle, iv been raised on greens since birth, i love all the people of the world. you need to concentrate on your pinkpanther videos and not so much on me
@krzifngrs do you work for Breville? You love all the people of the world but fire from the hip with such immediate comments as "because of idiots like this guy advertising these machines". No foam with a centrifugal juicer... not even you believe that! Im not concentrated on you, rather your dilluted impression or what is and what is not. peace!
Very clear video. I liked how it works! Some questions: I would like to take one overseas. I contacted a retailer in US and they said that they don't reccomend the Vert to overseas use because is too new yet and has troubles in design or materials in some parts, that factory are replacing immediately, but to get them oversaes will be a problem. They strongly reccomend the 8226 for international 220/240 volt.
@luisgferres1 Hi, they probably ment the problem with old screens in this juicers which were more likely to break if not used properly (bad cleaning or overfeeding the juicer). You have right now two choices. Wait for a new improved model with harder screen Omega VRT 350 or take Hurom Slow Juicer which already have these improved parts.
@luisgferres1 Hi Luisgferres. Bryxle basically said it right. The Hurom has a new improved screen. The previous screen had a tendency to crack or even break. Hurom remedied this problem with a new stronger sieve. Other than that there has never been any complaints or claims on the Hurom at all. It really is a great juicer. Where are you going overseas?
@luisgferres1 iv purchased so many pieces of just because of idiots like this guy advertising these machines that dont work, then i came across a guy on youtube called Liferegenerator, his machine is the one i have now and its the best . trust me youll love it
@krzifngrs I used to own an Breville machine. Also sold under such names as Gastroback made in Australia. Ive been juicing now for over 12 years and if you are going to tell me that your juice isnt oxydizing (brown foam) almost instantly or if you are saying that you can do a good job with leafy greens... then you need to get a quality cold juicer and see the difference for yourself. I know own the VRT and from the 4 juicers Ive had, it is far beyond the best Ive owned.
Great Video. Just a question. I bought this unit about a week ago and I'm having problems juicing greens such as salary, spinach and even parsley. They get wrapped around the auger and then stop other fruit or veg from getting through. Has anyone else had this problem? I hope there is a solution. Cheers.
@manooaus From our experience we are pretty sure that it is the celery which is causing this to happen. The long fibers which celery has is a tough job for any juicer. Try cutting the celery into smaller pieces (making the fibers shorter) and this should resolve your problem. Another tip from us is to always mix what you are juicing. By this we mean dont juice all the celery, then all the leafy greens, then all the carrots etc... mix it up. Do a bit of celery then some carrots, then some greens!
I purchased mine at Bed Bath and Beyond. The instruction booklet said very very little. Just a couple of pages. No recipes, no information about the difference between the yellow and the white strainers. No info about not having a blank so you can make butters...its fine not to have a blank, its not fine to not mention the important points.
@eyemech1 We have to agree and as mentioned in a reply from us very recently, we mentioned that our instruction manual is very informative. We have taken the original manual and added our "2 cents" to it which we have taken from our experience dating back to 1992. If there is anything in particular which you would like to know, please feel free to ask us. This is basically the difference which one gets when buying from a juicer specialist compared to someone who just stocks for profit.
@drp3156 strange.... our instruction manual is very informative. We can send it to you per email if you like. Send us a private message here or to our homepage at eujuicers(dot)com and we will send you ours. Where did you buy your machine?
Hello, i want to get a juicer which can do good on greens, fruits, vegatables and wheatgrass. After watching your videos, I like the Omega VRT 330. However, you mentioned the "Angel" juicer will do better on wheatgrass because Angel juicer is the twin gear juicer. Can you please sugest a juicer for me. I want a good price, not too expensive, easy clean and can do all of them good job? Please help me. I appreciate it very much. Thank you :)
Hi, Angel and also other twin gear juicers are more suitable for leafy greens. This is because they have usually better juice yield. Omega VRT handle greens also very well so if you are looking for a juicer which is versatile and easy to use I think VRT will be right choice for you.
@euJUICERScom Thank you so much for your suggestion. I think you are absolutely right. I should go for the Omega VRT. I have few questions here. I currently have a Vita-Mix blender. What is the differences between a blender and a juicer? Which can bring more nutrition to the body? Can a juice made froma juicer stay long hours (like 6 hours) without oxidation go bad? Because i want to bring juice to work. I appreciate your time, i know you are busy and thank you so much again. Bless :)
The main difference between a blender and a juicer is the following. A blender mixes at very high revolutions which generates heat and brings much oxygen into the juice, The juice can therefore not be kept. Compared to a "cold juicer" under 200 rmp/min, no heat is generated, no oxidation takes place. The juice from a cold juicer makes true quality juice. What must be said with a blender is that u retain the fibers which is also important. Juicing alone isnt enough, you should get ur fibers too!
The Vert will give you good quality juice and yield with leafy greens such as wheatgrass but not as good of course as the results you will get with a good twin gear juicer.
When you compare VERT with Angel juicer, what is the main difference when it comes to actual juicing? I am especially interested in yield comparison, and ease of use + cleaning. We have 3 kids and want to be efficient and quick. Will juice mostly carrots, apples, cellery and some greens. I will buy one from you guys because I really appreciate your work. Thumbs up for you...
What are the chances that they wll make a solid plate for this juicer for nut butters and stuff ? What juicer would you recommend out of all the ones out there ? thank you.
Hi, there is no talk about a solid plate (blank screen) as we know but to answer your other question, we would need to know what exactly your intentions are. What is it that you want to juice mainly? For us, the VRT is really the best all around juicer on the market in its price category at the moment. Be it leafy greens, berries, hard and soft fruit/veggies.. a true all around talent with great resultsin yield and juice quality!
Hi, is there anything specific which you are needing or wanting to know? The video pretty much sums it up but if you have a question which you would like answered, please feel free!
What are you losing in the pulp? The fiber and some nutrients?
loopba 5 months ago
@loopba Hi, yes definitely fiber and for sure there will remain some nutrients in the pulp as no juicer can make 100% job on that.
