  • HAHAHA BENNY B SATISFACTION!

  • lol "techno"

  • Yep had this happen to me while i was djing at a rave type party. My prod company threw it at a somewhat ghetto strip bar, why? i have no idea. One of the ugly, odd looking strippers came up to the main stage and started fucking with the technics pitch slider and asked me if i would play any 50 cent. Yeah im going to mix 90BPM 50cent into old 125BPM school funk & electro funk.

  • I literally have the same conversation a million times when I DJ.

  • Indicant's remix

    /watch?v=TBHwBQyf6zs

  • Just happened to me last weekend.... I wish people didn't listen to horse shit... Retards get force fed top 40 garbage and they take it with a smile :)

  • I get this, and its hilarious, but there is nothing wrong with Daft Punk. But ASKING a producer to play some other producer's music is rude and obnoxious.

  • Haha "I'm going to kill that son of a bitch!" but I've been there before too dj'ing at an electronic party and people ask me to play hip-hop or wait the best request, "play some black people music!" wtf for real...

  • What gets me mad is how radio DJs are the perceived authority to what is cool music, but club DJs aren't!

  • sooooo gooood.. but daft have some sweet techno tracks

  • totally loving it :D

  • What I want to know is why yanks call ANY type of Dance music with a 4x4 beat Techno?

  • @5starsquathotel

    hahahahaha exactly!

  • @5starsquathotel So true! though rather oddly i have heard speedcore at 3/4

  • I love Benny Benassi. Really?! No.

  • whats wrong with daft punk?

  • hahahaahaha

  • hahahaha

  • LMFAO !!!

  • LMFAO. the fuck you say?

  • LMAO that was to funny. HAHA would love to see that when the dumb chick goes to DJ as they mix

  • What is this horse shit?

  • haha I can relate to this video so well, the amount of times I've been asked to play Rhianna is unreal.

  • Hahaha I'm watching this at 5 am and I woke everyone up in my house from too damn hard lol god that seriously has happend to me agh my god I love these videos

  • I have had this conversation myself a lot of times. very frustrating

  • OMG, the funniest thing I've seen in a long time! 1.55 min, sooo true!!

  • watch?v=daY9uyO7b_Y

inner circuit - bringing hip hop back :)

  • really? no!

  • Dude this is exactly what happened between steve angello and paris hilton @ WMC i think...she went to the booth and asked if he could play some daftpunk or bob sinclar...and steve snapped...it's on their "Take One" documentary that just came out..

  • Awesome.

  • I see this happen at OP Bar in Montreal on Fridays lol

  • HAHAHAHA!

  • Is this Steve Angello and Paris Hilton?

  • wtf is she wearing! lol.

  • Soooo fucking true! This was me at my hip hop clubs early to late 90's....but i would play Daft Punk and try not to play Puff Daddy more than 3 times per night ;) thank god for EBTG and Lina Santiago

  • This is my take on my life as a DJ in LA. Look for A Night in the Life of DJ Eddie Ecstasy

  • This is my new favorite YouTube vid hahaha

    I love it

  • Hahah I've been doing this to top 40 djs lately when I'm dragged to those parties. I know I shouldn't but it's much too fun.

  • california girls isnt hiphop

  • @aserv948 there is no hip hop, it's all called pop music.

  • @djanthonyw there is HipHop. its underground . da mainstream doesnt play any hardcore shit. they play wahck garbage dat attracts 14 year old girls like justin bieber n lil wyane

  • Daft punk is the only request any producer might actually take... Fail.

  • Comment removed

  • Why do i have a feeling that this has something to do with the Steve Angello & Paris Slut Hilton faceoff. If it is then prefect re-enactment lol

  • @Storming1090 I completely agree with that feeling!!!!!!

  • LOL and thanks to TheSilverDubber for the share';-)

  • the only thing wrong with this video is that most of us wouldn't be that patient - I would have had her thrown out way before she got to daft punk. This is a typical night for so many DJs that work in clubs.

  • the end was funny

  • lol god damn this was good

  • why does this motherfucker have no daft punk?

  • don't be ignant. techno is absolutely massive right now. ever heard of Berlin, the new detroit? jeez.

  • The one thing that annoys me about this video is that the DJ is probably not actually a "Techno' DJ...more likely a House, Trance or Electro DJ. Barely anyone listens to Techno.

  • dude...this exact scenario has actually happened to me, hahaha

  • Can you play this song? I don't know what it is, but I'll give you like a $20 tip if you play it! It goes.... bmmpb bmmp bmmmmp... DUuuddde, u gotttttaa playyy that songggggg!?

  • So fucking true

  • I've seen this happen - even at Ultra! "This guy's black, why don't he play some 50 Cent?"

  • @Myriad727 lol! poor carl cox.

  • @squareWavePR omg lmmfao

  • Absolutely amazing. :D

  • the fuck you say?

  • dum dum dum dum, dum dum dum dum

  • i love when he talks abt how the kids in the crowd are DJ wannabes and think they can do a better job. seen that a million times

  • @ticouser1

depends where you live, come to NY where everyone in the crowd really IS a DJ ...and there always judging you..judging*whimper* and pointing.."did he just touch the record to slow it down..."

  • @Ryousuke91t that is true...but put them up there. watch their hands shake...they choke up!

  • :-)

  • So true....

  • lol

    fucking true lolz

    awesome ;D

  • its Epic OMG ... GOOD job... have I not seen that in LA a million times???? lol

ppl going to Audio fly and ask him to play Tiesto LOOOOL ...

  • @shivafaranpour lol i'm from LA so thats where my inspiration came from :)

  • hahahaha. that hip hop slutt could go aaaanywhere and find that horrible commercial shit! finding good danceable electronic is hard as hell when you don't live in the city :/

  • honesty is so funny! cheers to another great snapshot of reality : )

  • So true!

  • Its funny how the creator of the video, purposley has the DJ or techno producer contradict himself in the video

At :13 seconds he says "I am not a DJ. Im techno producer, Im playing my own music and bootlegs."

Then at :58 seconds he says " Im playing my techno tracks "Who are also DJ's

  • lmao! awesome.

  • This totally sums up my life. HAHA. Ok i do sell-out and play hip hop and commercial electro.... fml.

  • Thank you!

  • Haha....JOJO ELECTRO loves it!!

  • "cock sucking fucking hell no" lol

  • @FireFoxConn its saking HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH LOOL!:D

  • Hilarious!!!!!!!! 1:05

  • smack a ho

  • HAHAHAHAHAAHA!!

  • I love benny benassi

    Really?

    NO

  • TOO REAL

  • I really understand why a techno producer would hate that girl.

That said, lots of regular DJs seem to think they don't need to play stuff people can actually dance to. They need to actually listen to the costumers once or twice.

  • I've had this happen to me so many times.

  • btw, this is a classic scene going on in thousands of clubs all around the globe.

  • @AndyAutomaticss electronic music it's a genre, techno it's just a sub genre.

  • @schwiggys don't be so ignorant....... don't forget today's hip hop is so far from it's roots it's unbelievable..... and today's r'n'b certainly is nothing about either rhythm or blues !!!!

and at least techno / house etc isn't about putting people down or being abusive to women as well as gangster (or should I say "gangsta"), crap !!!!!

  • @deanfacer indeed mate!

  • @deanfacer couldn't agree more!!!

  • @deanfacer well before you take that stance I would recommend listening to some ghettotech, Chicago hard house or any derivative genre of hardcore. Those first 2 are just for fun samples, but hardcore is really tapping into the teen gangster mentality.

  • @iamlucaschilds from your comment you seem very young, which in itself is fine..... but as a music professional for the last 27 years and being heavily involved in street culture way before that there is not much I don't know about the various genres and music scenes over the last 40+ years so I know what I'm talking about and my comment is totally valid......

  • @deanfacer Haha I will admit you have got me on that one, I am certainly not any sort of institution, but I will also assert that you are relying entirely on credit here and haven't addressed the content of my argument at all! Not that any of it matters, it's just that bravado crap seems to sell records. At least they aren't singing about putting your hands up or having more to drink.

Anyway I bow to your better credentials, because after all, isn't it all about getting a long?

  • @deanfacer I don't even know what you said originally but I can tell from this comment that you were probably wrong and that you're only getting stupider with age

  • @deanfacer That's a pretty ignorant way to label Hip-hop... Jump off the media boat, there's good stuff out there...

  • @howyou2 according to you there is, but the last time I heard some true Hip Hop that was good was nearly 30 years ago..... !!!!! FACT

  • @deanfacer Right, well if you dont know where to look your gonna be fed the same idiotic crap everyone listens to on the radio. And I can name a few techno/house songs(if thats what you wanna call it) that puts people down, is abusive to woman etc... The media and Viacom make all rap look bad. They want it to look that way...

  • @deanfacer You're listening to the wrong hip hop. Don't be so ignorant.....and I seem to remember a techno hit called "Smack My Bitch Up." And I'm sure if I listened to more techno bullshit I could hit you with more examples, but I don't waste my time with the same beat over and over.

Go listen to some Atmosphere and some Sage Francis, and shut the fuck up.

  • @TheEMFB firstly "Smack My Bitch Up" is pop music, not techno... secondly I've been a music professional for over 30 years & have worked with the likes of Afrika Bambaataa - Cypress Hill & from Ice T - Sean Coombs, I therefore have no need to defend my position.... !!!!! simply to state again that both Hip Hop & R'n'B are so far from their true roots and certainly not in a good way....

btw it makes laugh how ignorant jokers like you act so tough online !!!!

  • @deanfacer Okay, I'll retract the "shut the fuck up" from my previous statement so you don't think I'm acting tough. Shouldn't have been so abrasive. My bad. But seriously, check out some underground hip hop before you go badmouthing an entire genre of music that is still very much alive. Fuck what you heard on the radio. You have to dig for the good shit.

btw if you ever worked with Sean Combs, you're probably part of the problem! LOL!

  • @TheEMFB To be honest, Sean Coombs was part of the reason I got so turned off by that whole scene.

Also I never listen to the radio, mainly because I DJ globally and have done for nearly 25 years now and as I get on average 1000+ new tracks a week sent to me I never get a chance to listen to radio. That's also why I stick to techno etc (my personal choice)... If you say there is good underground Hip Hop I believe you, and hopefully it's about real issues still, like it was !!!

  • @deanfacer Commendable. Me? I can't get into the techno thing. Too much cookie-cutter crap (same goes for radio "hip hop"). But I understand that there are real artists out there in every genre. I don't listen to the radio either, but I assure you, music hasn't stopped being good. People just started settling for less. I make hip hop music that means something to me and anyone that knows me will recognize this. So to imply that all hip hop is meaningless offends me.

  • @deanfacer Check out Aesop Rock "Daylight," and Atmosphere "Freefalling." Hip hop that doesn't make me embarrassed to say that I'm a rapper. More where that came from, dude.

  • well saidd. HIP HOP FOR LIFE!!!!!!

  • Can I leave my jacket in the DJ booth? No, this is not a cloak room.

Do you have any good music? No sorry I only bought my shit records with me tonight.

What have you got? It would take me weeks to list all of my songs to you.

Can you play something we can dance to? GO AWAY.

  • @slynkdnb hahaha. Bro I was playing The Count & Sinden last night and a girl came up and asked for something Dancy with Synths... I said you can dance to this.. she was like no. So i said its cause you don't want to dance to this. Ok I will play something with MORE synths in it. So i droped som Flux Pavillion hahaha Then this group of 5 people came out of nowear and loved it. So I played Dubstep for the last 45min. sick

  • @slynkdnb

nailed it what have u got is my fav, bitch i got like 30,000 songs hows about if u dont know wat u want u fuck off or if u just come over here to try and hook up just get to it already before i get mad and hit a bitch fuck!!!

  • WOW! This is exactly right! Someone should make a list of the top 10 responses to the infamous song request!

  • "If I had any women who liked my music, I'm sure I would get a lot of pussy."

  • that is fucking legit

  • OH AND DID HE DIE

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA THIS IS SO FUNNY OH MY GOD HA HA HA HA HAHA BTW WTF IS TECHNO
