  • hey man i did this to my dingo.could you tell me what links you used.or how to messure links.i just need to move my rear axles like 5mms or less back

  • what receiver boxes are those? I like the idea of placing them on the side of the truck

  • What all do u need for this conversion??

  • what shocks are on this

    reply asap

  • @ryanster1999 They are the Axial 100mm comp shocks.

  • damn this is a nice truck i want it so bad

  • So is this a honcho with wraith axles and honcho body?

  • @ARCTICCAT2012 Correct.

  • Its cool, but doesn't this take away from the "scale" aspect of the scx10? its a wraith with a honcho body. not trying to be a dick but if you already had the wraith that means you had 2 running trucks and now you have 1 running and 2 parts trucks?

  • @Cory6372 It's meant to be a scale Toyota running full width 1 ton axles, which is still scale for a hardcore trail rig. Tearing 2 R/C's apart to build one is just part of the process to have something different than everyone else.

  • dude, this is sick!! u've brought axial's best in a single rig!!

  • you did a really good job on this

  • what was the reason for moving the rear axle so far back, what length control arms did you use,did you use the stock scx10/wraith drivelines, and did you have to flip the trans 180 or not to make it all work,im thimking about following yer conversion or doing the r1 axles any tech help wopuld be greatly appreciated.....thankyou

  • that is the best custom axial i have ever seen. You should bring that to axial and have them produce and sell them you and them could make a lot of money.

  • the better summit!lol! there are only one real crawlerexpert BenderCustoms ! so many "tricky and technical chassis on the market" but only one brand that works!lol!

  • great vid awsome truck,a few qwestions, what trans and motor are you you running, what was the reason for stretching out the rear links and what length are they, what drive lines are you running, wraith or other, did you alter the front any,and anything else youi could offer up would be great....thx

  • @211junkie1 Sorry I missed this question the first time. I stretched the wheelbase to fit with the bigger 2.2 wheels and tires. If I would have left it stock it wouldn't have looked right to me. The lower links are custom, not sure of the length off hand as I don't have the truck in front of me right now. The transmission is stock, running a Tekin 35t motor on 3S. Running Wraith driveshaft out back and stock SCX10 out front.

  • If you look at rpphobby.com they sell the wraith axles complete for $129. Its under the salvage section. Not always available. But the do have them

  • you can also used tupper wear bowls. find the wright size and cut them in half. your truck is bitchen. awsome video

  • bad ass

  • if only i could get just the Wraith Axles with out paying $150.00 on ebay

  • Great video! Like the music too.

  • The axles are sold separately... they are the Axial AR60 axles... There is a company that makes them and all the other parts of the axle in alum... Just remember that you will also need the driveshafts. If your planning on switching the axles out and not using the old ones the diff will trasfer. Comes out to like... $60 to $70 I think, last time I looked.

  • pretty sure i saw axles and all seperate in multiple places. aluminum though

  • what spur gear and pinion gear r u running

  • Cracking truck great vid

  • Hey great video. awesome song. How did u mount the inner flares?

  • who sang the song

  • you sang this song i like

  • honcho frame? on wraith stuffs? it solves all my problems!

  • you the music form i like the song

  • i wonder if that axial are worth the up grade for my scx10?

  • hey man..where can i find the axles wraith axles..i found a pair on ebay and there 129.99..if you dont mine me asking what did you pay for the axles?

  • THAT TRUCK IS FRICKEN AWSOME

  • R35's ARE hands down the BEST tires out!!!!!!!! They even out perform my expensive RC4wd 2.2 Boggers

  • Awesome build and video with fantastic music!!!!!!!! Rock ON!!

  • can you buy the axles separate or do you need a wraith? because i want the scx10 but i like the longer axles and when i seen this i was like what a smart guy !

  • @ipwn1911 You will need to buy a Wraith, the axles aren't sold separately.

  • @ipwn1911 they have the axles on ebay just type in axial wraith

  • @xtreamredneck707 sweet thanks alot man! =D

  • @ipwn1911 Actually. You can get the axles separate. They cost alot though.

  • Cool Wroncho!

  • hey mate, i think you the best rc film makes on utube. what did you use as the mud gards/ flare things in the front??

  • @90kemp Thanks for the compliment. The inner fenders are made out of blank CD case tops. When you buy bulk blank CD/DVD's they usually are packaged with clear plastic containers. The top of the container is what I use to make the inner fenders.

  • very clean looking rig! i love it... im definitly hopeing axial will offer up its new ocp axles in a super scale type of kit soon?

  • @BenderCustoms What kind of tires are those? I'm sure they will get better traction than my rc4wd mud slingers. 2.2 right?

  • @Buchta179 They are the Axial Ripsaw tires in the sticky R35 compound. They will definitely work better then the mud slingers, they are the best 2.2 scale tire there is in my opinion.

  • @BenderCustoms where did u get the wraith axles

  • @link4899 I yanked them out of my Wraith RTR.

  • I would build one!

  • thing looks badass

  • Iv been looking at the wraith. I must say, im not a fan of the chassis, its cool n all but not very flexible body wise. This rocks! good work.

  • is there any differences final gear between wraith n scx10?..it's seems you got that speed brother,...my honcho isn't that fast...all with the same gear except the motor, i'm running my 27t (axial stock)..

  • @MsAkiraDad The Wraith axles have the same gear ratio as the SCX10 axles. I am running a big 3S lipo pack, with a 35t Tekin motor geared 20/87.

  • hey brother,...the boxes on the both side (rock rail)..are they waterproofed?

  • @MsAkiraDad No the boxes alone aren't waterproof. But, the electronics are inside balloons so the truck is waterproof. I am sure you could seal the boxes up fairly easy though. They are just project boxes from Radio Shack.

  • do the axials bolt on with out any mods

  • @ChaosGeneral1 There are a few small mods that need to be made, but it is fairly straight forward. The upper links hitting the driveshafts will be the biggest issue. I bent the uppers to clear mine and it works great.

  • Awesome vid, what is the music from btw, super cool.

  • NICE!!! very cool vid, subbing!

  • nice video and build bender. love your videos

  • It had to happen some time

    Awesome truck mate

    c",)

  • Great job on the ride! Great job on the vid!

  • What size pinion and spur?

  • @Surtac100 Running a 20t pinion and 87t spur with 35t motor on 3S.

  • Awesome! Simply awesome. Your truck looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing.

  • THAT ROCK'S

  • dude, sick. enough said.

  • cool axail graffics

  • SHHHWEET !!!

  • Awesome Vid as usual Bender! I think I just found the base for my next build up 2.2 Tuff Truck/ Rock Racer keep up the good work mate! ;)

  • superb vid bender

  • sick

  • Great video and cool idea

  • quality! truck and vid!

  • Great film!

  • as all ways nice work brad

  • also where u get the front light kite

  • hey mate was the things on the side on the bars.

  • @kingazza12311 They are project boxes from Radio Shack, my electronics are inside them. The front light kit is just Axial's simple LED kit, part number AX24257.

  • awesome,great,fantastic,boah,

  • As ever an amazing creation. Thumbs up.

  • hay were can i get some of those axles

  • @jand2442 try to find the wraiths axles and their you go

  • im pretty sure he already has his own company..

  • That kicks ass. Using Wriath axles in a SCX 10,, great Idea!!

  • Axial needs to hire you, or you need to start your own company!

  • @gabe2304 I think there is no more need for Axial to hire Mr. D.. Read more in "Press" at axialracingcom. @Bender: NICE! This is what we need, you can also call it "The AntiSummit"! Music?

  • @ifUwalkbeforeUcrawl Where in the "press" section?

  • @gabe2304 2008 - use your eyes, bro! ;)

  • @gabe2304 when u r just kiddin' i've said nothing. If not: Bender has built the great SW2/SW3 Chassis systems for years and our pleasure under his name, he also created the SWX-Chassis-Kit for AXIALs AX10 Kit and more stuff. He joined the team of AXIAL in 2008. When i started rcrc there where 2 important names: Brad Dumont (BenderCustoms) and Kevin Guhman (TCS). One for the TLT-Guys, one for the Clod-Guys. Good ol times, YEAH!

  • Bad A!!

  • Nice video,sweet custom build!!
