@Dps081393 -->> You *must* provide the author's name in an in-text citation if the source you are using lists an author. Try citation no space machine dot net for help on this.
@BSANTIAGO8533 -->> You must cite each use of a source (paraphrase or quotation) using the guidelines of MLA (if that is the style you are to follow). Go to Google and search on "Son of Citation Machine" for help.
Thanks for your comment. The annotation on this video identifies it as MLA 6th edition, which suggests title pages or first body page header. There is a link to the MLA 7th video, where the option of a title page is not given. In any case, MLA offers guidelines, not rules. The writer should always do what the professor or editor instructs.
@powderedtoastman2112 - "This video (and part 2) has taught me more about MLA than any teacher or textbook has." That's great to hear and probably due to the fact that you are a digital native and so learn more from social media than you ever could from textbooks and teachers. Schools are changing but not fast enough.
Thanks for the advise, say you wouldn't happen to know how I would go about converting a 460 big block from carburetor to fuel injection would you? -TX
well you answered everything i needed, my high school senior project was due today so thanks for the vid as well as offering for more help, your generosity is appreciated!
another thing someone pls tell me the difference between March 13, 2009 and 13 March 2009? I'm assuming you guys arent stupid and you will tell me that it is the same date. fuck my teacher. fat bitch
there is no point to MLA format its just another pointless piece of fecal matter that some "scholar" devised. as if the English language wasn't flawed enough.
so many rules, and sub rules
no matter what, you will run into some word that abides by one rule, but defys a completely other rule.
when you hear some one say Modern Language Association you think of simplified and easier to utilize formats. . .HA! ! !
if only english grammar was as simple as german or spanish
Thank you for this and the APA video as well. I looked over the comments for any information on the updated version as of March 09, and haven't seen anything. Are you going to update your video to include the changes or is it just a couple of things that you could list in your information at the top? Sorry if I missed the information if it is already on here.
How do I cite information from a video of the internet?
NiaMikayla 3 months ago
@NiaMikayla -->> Two answers:
1. Get comfortable using one particular citation machine and stick with it. Google "Son of Citation Machine."
2. Author's/Artist's last name, first name. "Title of video." name of website. Editor or webmaster. url. date you last accessed the site.

MLA papers do not have title pages! That is why the first page has the heading information on it.

The 13 March 2009 is the military style. MLA wants you to use March 13, 2009.

the rest of the world prints their dates the same way as well

whats the point of MLA. All i can assume is that it's to help keep things nice and neat. other than that what does it accomplish?
