  • Love this show. I hadn't realized it was cancelled because we haven't gotten all the episodes in the States yet. That is a real shame.

  • So stereotypically English, but it's great

  • reminds me of death.

  • what beautiful music.. specially the flute. Do you know a site or a link we can watch all seasons?

  • love this programme.....i'm an 18 year old guy...wow :/

  • Loved this programme. Happened to come across it on PBS years ago, and went on to watch every single episode--repeatedly. So sorry it was canceled, but I have to admit, I didn't like when they went to other countries. There are more than enough gardens (and murders) in and around Britain. Fell in love with Britain so much so, had to book a flight and go see it for myself. Can't wait 'til I can go back. Love, love, love England and love this series.

  • whats the name of this tune anyone know? x

  • @xbritishgirlx its called WHATTTT KIND OF ROOOOSEMARYYYY AND THYME.....

  • @xbritishgirlx Scarborough Fair by Simon and Garfunkel

  • Sounds like Scarborough Fair - Simon and Garfunkel

  • @04jhowarth It is....They just tweeked it to fit the tv show theme....Cuz the show is Rosemary and Thyme....;)

  • I wish they still had this show :( I used to watch it when I was little (yeah, I kno, murder mystery.. But I liked that kind of stuff =P) I was 6 or 7

    Memoriesss....

I couldn't find this anywhere! Thanx

  • I love this show xxx

  • Loved this show, shame it was axed

  • New Years Day, 2008 I was in bed as sick as a dog. I switched on PBS and caught the beginning of a new BBC series Rosemary & Thyme. I was captivated by the music, story line, and good acting. For four hours I forgot my illness and watched four episodes of this series and learned about gardening.

    Thanks for posting the music.

  • @wrtolkas Wasn't this an ITV series? Glad to hear it cheered you up though when you were ill. Would be nice if the brought it back for a new series.

  • Hm what is the name of the song?

i wonder if there is a full version?

    btw amazing video

    thank you for posting it

    ^.^

  • @Syntara7 It's a traditional english ballad called 'Scarborough Fair.' The words rosemary and thyme are in the lyrics. Simon & Garfunkle had a popular version of it in the 1960's.

  • @FSPKW really?

    it doesn't sound like it

  • @Syntara7 It's the same but guitarist John Williams is playing it in a more classic style.

  • @Syntara7 It's called 'Rosemary and Thyme Caprice' and you can listen to it on Christopher Gunning's site and download the full version by right clicking the player and picking 'save as' (if you use chrome, 'save target as perhaps for IE?) - it's such a lovely song!

    Hope you find it :)

  • @NatheHatake just wanna say thanks for typing this comment, found it no problem, thank you, beenlooking for that every where lol :o)

  • @maxpower285 No problem! I'm glad it helped you out :D

  • i loved the theme!

  • The show was great, and the intro song is, as an instrumental, even better than the original Scarborough Fair, in my opinion.

I just wish Rosemary&Thyme would have been more successful as a series.

  • the best part of this show ois the intro!

  • i love this good song too

  • Thx for uploading the theme music. I've always found it relaxing for some reason, lol.

Pam Ferris and Felicity Kendall--they were so excellent together that they did a brilliant job carrying the show :-)

  • @lighthousedreamers: Too right. I think this shows awesome, along with the theme!
