Probably should have a conveyor,dump table,or something similar.Operator has little or no time to respond is he or she is accidently snagged by what ever is getting pulled into shredder.Looks like a accident waiting to happen to me.

I also am interested in the most economical pallet shreder,could I use a magnet to get the nails out afterwords? how much is this machine?

The machine in this video is $95,000, and you can use a cross belt magnetic conveyor to remove some of the nails if you shred pallets.

So this is a low speed high torque grinder right? Are those rotating hammers what shreds the object or are there actual cutting blades inside the machine?

It can shred pallets, however pallets contain lots of nails so they usually don't make good mulch. Shredded pallets can be used for fuel pellets and boiler fuel.
