like seriously I can not find a "comb that rolls", this chick could have said where she got hers from our a couple of stores that sell them. I've looked on ulta and macy's websites and I can't find any combs that roll.
Never detangle curly hair after you wash it... it just frizzes up the curls . What I do is detangle BEFORE I get into the shower. The less you mess with your hair the better. If you have to, detangle while you condition it.
I have a bit curlier hair then this girl, and I've found that untangling it while adding the conditioner in the shower has always been the easiest way to tangle. After untangling with my fingers, I gently run a large-toothed comb through my hair.
my hair is up to my bum it really curly and kinde of bushy and it really hard to cope with,so for girls out there who has the same problem:DO NOT USE A COMB !!
always wet your hair use this detangler that you can get from any shop with hair and stuff like that and go through your hair with you FINGERS nice and easy if you use a comb it ruins you curls and it gose frizzy
@Lexygracie your local shoprite MIGHT have it. if not, try ULTA. they should have it. if for some weird reason they dont, try macy's in the mall. uhm.. most likely its to be found in ULTA. and for the sleeping thing, i have the same problem :( put your hair up in a ponytail while u sleep, it will rub up against the pillow less so it will not only tangle less, but be less dry & frizzy:)
i only started using a wideteeth comb recently.I shouldn't have used a brush as my only detangler before because it felt as if the brush rip my hair=(.I have curly mixed hair too=).
I keep my hair detangled by putting it in a braid every night. I find that I lose less hair that way. I also wear a satin cap at night. My hair is way too long to be playing tug of war with it!!!
yea; i start from bottom to top. but may i ask is there any recommended products. my hair is very think, an i have those tiny tite curls. its' also growing constantly since i mixed. but, any other reccomendations?
"JUST FOR ME" is a detangler you can find in the Ethnic Hair Care section. It's used on kids but I use it because it is more gentle. Trust me, it works! your hair feels like silk as soon as you put it in. It's like $4 at Walmart or Walgreens. It's also a leave in conditioner. Some good leave in conditioners are from Garnier Fructis, Aussie, and v05..these are leave-in creams that are cheap but work!! :-)
when I wash my hair and within minutes of drying my hair it gets detangled really bad. and sometimes in the morning too I wake up with my hair really detangle. what kind of stuff can I use for my hair? if anybody knows.
make sure you sleep on a satin pillow case. i started using one like 6 months ago && leme tell you...IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE..cotton is too harsh on curly hair. anything silky will slip, not catch, against your hair. It's not expensive, just a few bucks more than a cotton pillow case :-)
I agree with the bottom two - impossible for me. & I also hate the day after I shampoo and condition my hair. It's dry and if I rinse it it just becomes gross :\
yeaa, iagree with the person below ido the same thing. my hair is not only long but thick. my hair is mixed, with straight, wavy,an small curls. its hard for me not to comb it all the way threw with out it beingg tangled still, have any tips?
do you start from the bottom & work your way up? a lot of times us curly girls lose a lot of hair because we try comb it like its straight from top to bottom. instead we gotta start at the tips like Liz is doing in this vid..
theres no way i can wash my hair and not detangle it while in the shower, my hair is very long and curly but fine & i have to do it while its wet in the shower with the conditioner in, n it suckz cuz i lose so much hair but i have no choice. argh.
if you want a tip here's 1 use infusium23 or garnier fruyiese curling gel but before you use that put a leavein conditioner cream in it really helps:) i use it all the time i t works also scrunckh ur hair so u get tight curls and if u lost ur curls the scrunching helps esspecislly wit the leave in conditioner
i have curly hair and is it okay to straighten ur hair every week or will it burn my hair and also should i wash and condition everyday.?????????!!!!!
im half white, half black, so my hairs really curly too. i wash my hair every other day. if i want to wear it down, ill get it wet and use conditioner. but i only shampoo every other day!
u right. that shit is soooo stupid. It's a complete waste of time! As soon as u think they're about to spill the beans on what they're doing and the reason why it works....STOOOOP click OR search for the next part...if they have it labeled right so that u can find it
Don't wash your hair every day. Wash twice a week at most. Just use a leave in conditioner daily or every other day (depending on how dry your hair is) and your should be fine. Make sure to get your roots too so that they don't split and break off!
Man and I thought that guys like me with curly hair gets tangles, they hurt like crazy, oh and I got a small question, I'm trying to grow out my hair and I was kind of hoping if theres a way to umm make my hair grow faster without the use of hair growing formulas and stuff I want to let it grow naturally. If there is a way, I want to know, Please and Ty
Not sure about the leave-in that was used, but one of those huge-toothed 'shower combs' would work. I use one on myself and my daughter, and when I'm doing the curly look, I only do a full-comb out with the shower comb when my hair is soaking wet and full of conditioner. Hope this helps!
Forgot to add: the comb she has is great, but the 'shower comb' has even bigger and wider-space teeth. Also, with that length, I would NEVER EVER comb from the top down. I always, ALWAYS gently comb/detangle from the ends up.
Yes, it's okay. I do the same thing. Depending on your individual hair type and hair mood (you know how curly hair has it's different moods)...you can either rinse only SOME of the conditioner out--or--leave all of it in. Kudos to your hairdresser for the conditioner tip.
wow I never knew how to do this! :D

GAH I LOVE HER HAIR!
But someone needs to make a video
handling hair 100x puffier than hers
and 3x curlier. Because my hair is
so puffy and long and frizzy that I
just don't know what to do with it. It
looks like I got zapped by thunder.

Well I don't use shampoo so I wash my hair a couple times a week. If you're not familliar with it, Google the "no-poo method." It's really healthy.
