  • He's got a square driver.....LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.

  • OK here's the question!! Would you "delay" squaring an axe upon a tree? Would you "delay" squaring a tennis racket upon a tennis ball? Would you "delay" squaring up the bat on a 100mph fast ball? Would you "delay" squaring ah hockey stick up on the puck? So then why would you "DELAY" squaring up the club head to the Golf BALL?

  • hes right!

  • his left hand is not straight... weak... should not be teaching

  • Not since, cents, or scent's. It's sense. English can be confusing

  • This guy doesn't make since

  • you made this in 2009 when tiger was at his best and winning most of his championships and you dist him you stupid cow

  • @lagcreater he was joking. get a life

  • I have that driver he is using. I love it!

  • adjust your grip for a different swing speed? not so sure on that one...

  • Your pivot toward the target creates lag. Most golfers stop or slow their pivot / turn at the ball and the club head will pre-release due to centrifugal force. Lag can only be created by a forward motion.. stop or slow that motion (pivot) and you lose all lag and break your wrists.

  • Your description suggests that I need to develop the ability to "SIT" and maintain an angle from the backswing to the hitting area.....but you are STANDING the whole time

  • awesome simple explanation & tip.

most instructors say ridiculous things like keep your wrist cocked etc. - but to most average & even better golfers this really doesn't mean much. Your drill however teaches them to feel the club being pulled behind their lead arm and also how important it is to keep rotating the upper torso / shoulders.

And they don't have to buy some training aid or need to be on a course or range to practice this drill - very glad you posted your video.

    Thanks

  • must have smoked some ganja before the video, dopey bear?

  • The real Mr Mackey? mmmmmk

  • Very well explained.

  • Good video, thanks.

  • I would not listen to this guy. He does not even know which end of the club you're supposed to hit the ball with.

  • this is a great tip, very well explained. too many try to say hold on until the moment of impact which is almost impossible as you said. great video thanks.
