@unclepaul57 No we don't even have open carry, has to be concealed and is a shall issue state. Texas laws ban "clubs" so no batons, or purpose built blunt weapons such as this. Its odd to me too.

I can't speak to their blackthorn, but I do own their african walking stick. I used it for a while as a cane. For me at least, it worked well in that capacity. I never tried smashing anything with it, so I don't know how good it works for that. If you need a good sturdy walking stick, check out the african walking stick. Make sure to get a cane tip for it. A 1 inch cane tips works great
