I don't think he's doing any bad in this video - he's not solving the cube at first, he's just memorizing it, than putting it down, and than solving it!

Yes, that's the inspection phase of the solve and not the solving phase, where he does do something wrong.

Matyas Kuti is well-known as a cheater in the cubing world. He was disqualified from any official WCA competition for three years after being proven he cheated in some blindfolded competitions. Though, he is a very good cuber, but lost many people's respect and lot of credibility after the incident he was disqualified after.

Just look at the timer. It stops at the point when he does that "weird" wrist move and not after he finishes the cube.

Pause the video right at the moment of the wrist move. You'll see the timer stopped at 5:31 and his hands in the air.

This is just "cheat practice".

I'm listening to this on a computer without sound, but I will point out that it is not uncommon for youtube to mess up videos a bit, such that sound and video are not synchronized. It is blatantly obvious in some of my own videos that the sound is lagging behind the image.

I observe that Matyas is examining the 2x2x2 of course before he starts fixing it ,but the timer didn't start working so he didn't find it hard to solve it because he already examined the 2x2x2..... It looks as if he was twisting the cube...but I think it's just the shitty quality of the camera that makes it seem that way. It looks legit otherwise.

He is twisting after he stops the timer. You can even hear it. And it's not legit otherwise. He did a wrist stop and held the puzzle after stoping the timer.

I watched the video carefully...the timer starts at 10 seconds in. After that his hands are in mid air above the stack mat. I think you're confused, he was examining but not twisting...background noise maybe?

Why would he examine and then try to stop the timer? And why would he examine a solved puzzle? It would give a +2 penalty. Look at him, he knows something went wrong. It's not background noise, you can here twisting sounds the exact same time you see him twists. There is no sound during the inspection. You can here the sound of some turns then he slams his hands on the timer. And how nice of you to add a 'maybe' in the end of your sentence, you're just guessing.
