Bighead Carp is the main ingredient of a popular Chinese cuisine called fish head soup. This particular type of fish has never been a problem in places like Taiwan and China because people consume them regularly. Maybe we could catch and export them back to Asia to balance the trade.

Some company is doing just that. There was a New Yorker article recently about these fish and they mentioned a cannery sending tons of the stuff to China. According to the company, "It doesn't even make a dent."

This is great for someone who invents a tool to remove these fish bone. Then, you will see it filets on market. No way you can kill them all, but you can comerialize the fishing by adding these carp on your restaurant menu.

Unfortunately, these fish are 'trash' fish because their bones float in their skin, so they are impossible to filet.

they are like the snakehead but only in bigger numbers they are an introduced fish and i think eventually will become a big problem they alredy seen to be a big problem once a fish is overtaking a water system like these carp are doing they kill off all of the local fish and then are a real problem to get rid of without killing off the whole ecosystem of the river itself not sure if there is an answer for this ? its a tough one to try and fix ? they were fun at first now they are a problem
