@DaDa2Phlux Taylor was younger than Clapton and has the same influences. Clapton was also an influence on Taylor. That's the main difference.

HEY.before this gets out of hand,Eric is a true pioneer but his style is itself a blend of his impressions of Big Bill Broonzy, BB King & Buddy Guy Robert Johnson,most noticeably..Eric's own life story is what makes the" kindling " catch fire.So give the young gun Taylor credit for not only being a blues purist but tipping his hat to the legendary figure
