I had no idea of this tragedy in Laos. It's sad to hear of atrocities against people living such simple lives. They were cooerced into fighting during the Vietnam war. I'm quite sure they wouldn't have taken any sides at all if they'd been left alone. CIA operatives cooerced them with bribes and propaganda against their neighbours. Now the Laotians are vengeful and genocidal. It is a terrible tragedy and the US should do something concrete to help these people.
