Id say that Waylon was the best replacement for J Mann but at the same time J Mann and Waylon are equal as vocalists. Sure Waylon is more varied in his vocal skills but J Mann has that killer Growl and hardness in his vocals and especially in the parts where he rapped.

J Mann gave Mushroomead their power and Waylon has given Mushroomhead a more epic and sharper edge with his vocals so both of them have contributed well to Mushroomhead hence boht them are equally great vocalists in my opinion.
