the dip switches only come into affect if youre running it using DMX control... in this one im not... just good timing i guess... when i first got it i played araound with them but it made no difference... i know you can change the volume sensitivity... maybe youve got it set to high??? i usually set it somewhere around the middle.. or once ive set my max volume ill slowly turn the sensitivity down till it moves that way it will stop during the breakdown and start again when the bass kicks in

See the kinta, it has a little blue box of options on the back, which numbers do you have on because mine doesnt seem to be sound activated.
