@rubien44 While I do love this movie, I think a remake should be made because the book is REALLY good. I think a remake should reflect more of the novel.

@LadyDi4476 i love the book. I do understand why the director did differently. But yet i think he wanted the full concentration towards the feelings of both character. It did work on its own. The book is powerful but somehow it has more of others characters story to put in into the movie, like the mothers letters and feelings based on her writings to david. Nevertheless without persay reading the book, the movie works well on its own. Its strange because its quite different from book.

The father apparently had his own "first love" and had lost that girl too, as his son would.

I liked the movie,it isdifferent from the book.The ending from the book is depressing but it makes you think about what you are willing to go through for love. In the book David and Jade do not end up together and David never lets her go, Spencer(the author)gives you the impression that David goes mad because he cannot be with Jade, but he is ok with it. For him it is a price he is happy to pay because he once was happy and all the pain he went through and will go through makes it worth it.

En este final cortan la parte en la que Jade le habla a su mama del momento en que dejo de ser la nina de su papa, porque con David algo cambio y por primera vez en su vida era ella misma.

Aqui se borra esa parte y se agrega la parte en la que David habla de su relacion con Jade.

Seria bueno tener las dos partes en un solo final.

Ella es una mujer madura en esta escena y no una niña.
