As far as I know most supermarkets don't have babies as residents, therefore baby diapers are probably not a common occurance. :( Sad how people say no before even trying it. 75% or more of my food is dumpstered now. And I am healthier than I ever was when I was trying to afford to buy fresh fruit and produce.
@jeans423 Sorry I'm not sure about Australia. I do know that I waited around for a long time trying to find a network or something though, and missed out. Just grab an open-minded friend and start checking out places behind grocery stores. Don't go in ones with sign or fences if you don't want to give the coppers a reason to arrest you. There's usually plenty in wide-open dumpsters anyway. Don't judge it if your first attempt isn't great, either. It varies.

Just grab an open minded friend and explore. It's an adventure. Bring a flashlight, boots, maybe bags or boxes to put stuff in, and go behind grocery stores, bakeries, etc. Chances are you'll find something. Don't go behind fences or in dumpsters with signs on them unless you wanna give the coppers a reason to arrest you tho.
Wow! I'm not surprised Fox news missed the point. Freegans from what I understand don't dive through heavily contaminated waste, such as daipers and home garbage. They get a lot of their food from grocery store's expired food stocks,some of which have never seen the inside of a trash can, or bin.
lol well said, Cox news is retarded but lucky it is on the TV with all the other trash which is actually bad for you to consume! and not in the can, we're the freegans are doing something constructive, I hope foxs keeps putting people off with propaganda more for the rest of us!
