  • The fact that you got the muezzin on camera is astounding. What a nice change of pace. Thank you!

  • This guys voice is great. Very clean and powerful.

  • The Muslims in the Muslim world should know the beauty that they have. I live in a western country and do not have the privilege that most of my brothers/sisters have which is to listen to this amazing call 5 times in a day. Be grateful for what you have it is one of the most sacred things of this world and you get to listen to it on a daily basis. Going to Turkey in November inshallah, cant wait :)

  • @aoa9293 I always cry when I am here, I miss listening to the adhan so much. It makes my heart very calm and I feel some sort of emotional relief when listening to the adhan.

  • ahhhh en çok ozledigim sey iste bu ; EZAN !!!

  • MachALLAH ! c magnifique..

    çok guzel ozledim vatanimi

  • Peace be upon the müezzin's soul for the sake of his divinely blessed voice.

  • i love going to turky and this is why ....back in september till then keep cool and stay frosty

  • @Grinder450 yeah when your in the hell fire after you DIE of course - then you will regret even saying that - remember you wont live forever..........I hope you get guided mate because what is about to come ressurection as mentioned in bible as well as Quran - none can escape - then you will know exactly What Allah is its an arabic word for God so no point in making fun of the creator who created you its pathetic.....i hope you get guided before its too late

  • Allah is greatest from Algeria

  • tres beau comme appel a la priere

  • What a great inspiring voice.... I am also Christian from Greece but everytime I visit Turkey I find this prayer magical. And I think if there is a God it is one God for every one. Amazing, tesekkurler komsular!

  • Hello all...i am the same person above that posted a year ago about how i felt about this mans call to prayer. I thank you all that liked it. I am here today to let all my muslim friends, and neighbors know that my Christian people in Iraq were attacked in church by Islamic terrorists at the end of October 2010. I am reaching out to my peace loving muslims to not let these finatics be the representatives of your religion. God be with you all and peace be upon all of us. We are enemies of hate

  • O muhammad rasul rah! la ilaha illa allah! allahu akbar!!!

  • from what mosque is this, the minaret is very high!

  • this is how you do the real adhan

  • Mashallah

  • Turkey should become Islamic, because it holds the banner of Muhammad P.B.U.H.... In end of time Mahdi will claim the banner & sword. I don't understand why you love Attaturk so much.. no offence... You should love the Prophet More...

  • @hafiidz3 Turkey is an Islamic state, jus nt officially. 2 tell u the truth many Trks really dnt care or much less even like Ataturk. But there is a problem here, cos in Turkey there is no Islamic leader or a role model for the Muslims. Yes many Turks do not like Ataturk, but the government and military are tryin to keep his image in the public as a leader of the trks. This is y frm a yung age in skool it is drilled in2 the kids heds dat he is a great figure and shuld be looked up 2.

  • @aoa9293 correct.. i hate Attaturk because he like the west so much & force his citizen to become western.... Muslim Turks must drill what Prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H do for Islam... start from the younger ones... Yes Ataturk do save Turkey from being invade, but what he didn't realized his mind has been invade by Pro western thinking...

  • Alahu akbar...

  • I wish i was born in Adana, one of the most beautiful cities in Turkey right now, simply cause there's no fake people everyone is so real. Only went there two times.

  • Haunting sounds from my early childhood (Air Force brat, grew up in Adana, Turkey while my father was stationed at Incirlik in the early to mid 60's). I especially recall standing at our 3rd floor window, just after sunset, with the stars just coming out against the sky, and, trance-like, listening to the muezzin call and thinking it the most wonderfully strange, almost musical sound I'd ever heard (or ever would, actually).

I literally fell asleep (10pm), and woke(6am), to it, as well.

  • @jipsieyes I myself was stationed in Incirlik for two years. I recently left a year ago and I must say, there is not a day that goes by that I do not miss hearing the call of prayer everyday. By far, the most beautiful sound I have ever heard!

  • which mosque is this?

  • i miss my country sooooooooooo much :'((((((((

  • I miss your country too...

  • very very nice

  • why doesnt he record the voice on pc and set the times...so it can automaticly play XD noone would notice XD :P:P

  • they do this mostly

  • Because to cry out that God is great, that God is the only god, and that victory can only be attained through him alone is a tremendous privilege.

  • sweden is garbage, and go tell him to shut up. For you not to like this, why did you comment 2 days in a row?? Id be afraid of an avalanche if i spoke above a whisper in Sweden. Such a cold disgusting place

  • Then why are muslims moving to sweden? They come to my country and demands special treatment. For us to give them money, food etc. Then they run around in gangs and beat up people and rape swedish woman. Then demands that the majority in our land shal give up our freedom so they can practice sharia- laws. They murder their own daughters if they want to live as a swedish woman. Leave us alone..dont come here

  • Im not getting my face into that jungle hahahahahaha

  • @StarkTigerSyd they go there because in secular countries; like syria, lübnan, turkey etc... policeman dont let extremists to practise their sharia or resque their daughters or wives from their despotic lifestyle. after that they want to run. because of that you met extremists only in europe. müslims dont want extremist people(except iran). for example i live in turkey. there is only kurdish fascists(new pkk), kurdish islamists and kurdish communists(founder of pkk, destroyed) causing problems.

  • @HastaPsikolog

    Stop lieing you dog!

  • Sweden is shit, full of worthless disbelievers like you :)

  • Thats right! So tell your fellow muslims not to come here!!!

Btw Allah is nothing but a "moongod". A demon. You have all been fooled, he`s not God almighty but satan himself.

See dokumentary " The rape of Europe" then you will understand if you are wise! Then you will understand your hate against jews and christians

  • they have this around the entire muslim world

wherever you have a mosque the adhaan is recited five times a day

  • @ferial123 Lovely comment...very honored =)

  • @nurnur88 Thank you nunur88, I'm thankful my family had me listen to Turkish music since i was a young child. Turkish music has so much emotion in it that it's the only one that has braught tears to my eyes!!! Love it!

  • @ferial123 You should read about Islam. It's a wonderful religion, balanced and not a terrorist religion as promoted by some. Try please, ferial123!

  • @utrujjah Thank u utrujjah...I do know about the Islamic religion. And i also know that the general public are influenced by the media. In all religions there are fanatics and I don't allow the few to represent the majority. With education and respect for our differences one day we may be able to live side by side as peaceful neighbours and friends. Hey we all love, laugh, and sleep the same way...I'm just thankful I have been blessed with the appreciation of the middle east. God Bless!!!!!

  • @ferial123 uhmmmm well this is arabic not turkish, duh !

  • @maggas69 uhmmmmm all Islamic prayer is in Arabic. duh!! But if you ever listen enough to the different regions that do it...example Turkia, there is a diff in the style from location to location.

  • Parisaa20014: its called the ezan, they have it in iran too.

  • الحمد لله على نعمة الاسلام

  • gurbette olpta etkilenmemek elde degil! ezan-i muhammedin degerini bilin canla ! biz guret elde ezana hasret kaldik siz degerini bilin namazi bu güzel ses ile birlikte devam ettirin...

  • Mashallah!

  • Do you think you were brought on this Earth to sleep, drink, eat and follow your desires? That is the role of animals, you are a human being. God gave you a conscious and an intellect - use it before it is too late [ie. death overtakes you].

Respond to your Lord before a Day comes from Allah which cannot be turned back. On that Day you will have no hiding-place and no means of denial. (Qur'an 42: 47)

  • It's a joke. Lighten up.

  • why beards?

  • I like the Türks very much. Most are Muslim, yet I don't no a single Türk who does not drink Raki on occasion. Most seem to keep their secular and their religous lives apart and balanced.

  • sorry for this question...

does he call to prayer every night or only particular days of the year?

  • The Call to Prayer is made five times a day, every day. But perhaps you are asking if this particular muezin (Imam Nurettin Okumus) makes calls only at particular times on particular days. I don't know.

  • This was part of my life for 2 and 1/2 years when I was 13 to 16. Air Force Brat that I am and it has lived with me ever since. It felt like home to watch & I want to go back. People should live and let live. No fighting, just together as brothers & sisters, united by this human body we inhabit for a short time.

  • I'm a macedonian christian but i love turkish music. it brings me to tears. we say masallah too in macedonia.

  • what language do you speak?

  • english and macedonian.

  • I think the reason why you say mashallah is that b/c there are a lot of albaninas there and they say that so you guys got 'mashallah' from them. am i correct or do all the christians in macedonia say that. by the way i'm shqiptar musliman.

  • no. macedonians have said "masalah" forever. it's part of the cultural heritage of the Balkans as well as the middle east. Macedonia has been under the ottoman empire for more than 500 years. middle eastern customs are part of the Balkan heritage.
