I got a TSX want to throw some Kickers in the trunk, what speakers are you running inside in this video?

People that sleep on this amp just dont have enough power to push them. That come from the guys that think putting a capacitor in the car helps with powering the system. Try running some real power in your car and you will get real power from "POWER" Acoustic. This amp run @ 14+ volts will push every bit of what it says. Stop trying to fix your power problems with capacitors & get yourselves a 220 alt, with a couple of Dry cell deep cycles and see what this amp does.

you went from a high end Alpine sub with one of the best Rockford amps to a crap power acoustik amp and sloppy Kicker subs... what were you thinking!?!?... that change is only good if you were planning on doing some SPL comps but definetly not with that amp.. doesn't even seem louder than the one X

hey, in my opinion, i woulda' just kept the single x, i saw no difference in the video other than a waste of money for 'more' subs, when you can do the same damaga with the one x, i might be trading a guy my type r 12 in ported box, with a kenwood 1000w amp plus the wiring for 2 brand new type x 10s never been opened

@mienmacdaddy510 there is no diference BUT, he needs to have a bigger and higher wattage AMP, power acoustik is not a brand name amp , L7 is a beast I had 1 15 L7 running a 2 channel XTA 1000 @ 1ohms bridged.

it could be custom not sure, it was a nice box but not all that best for sound, needed to be tuned, i bought the 10" type x with the box/enclosure for around 130u.s so i cant complain, well worth it.

i wasint considered about spl, if i was i would of gone with ported enclosure for the 3 10's, but the one ten type x is not for spl, it was a sq sub, where the l7's are spl, and you have 30" of air being pushed in stead of 10" and 1800rms verses 1000rms, but the main difference is twice as loud and hard hitting.

i would, but i prefer it to be louder outside of the car as well. the rattling was annoying but with dynamat it reduces the sound outside the car so its not as loud, but it does give better sound inside car.

yeah you probably seen the 3 10's later on in the video, old setup, new setup. the 10" type x is impressive, throw it into a nice big box and it will sound real nice.

in my opinion its good. its not the best name in car audio but it is surprising. i was also wasint to sure about buying it because i am a fosgate fan but in the end it came out to be good. power acoustik cant be compared to kicker or fosgate, but it is still worth the money. if you do go with power acoustik go for the A-series. its much better than the Gothic series. i have 2 ov14000d amps running my 4 15 l7's. they are decent but the a-series is better.

i'm not sure exactly about wiring it at 1 ohm i'm guessing as long as you have your 4 ohm woofer you should be good. the rockford amp is amazing, so far the best i have had.

i still have that in my tsx but check back in about 2 weeks time, ill have a new video for my honda pilot.

new setup will be 4 15 kicker l7's (2008 model brand new) with 2 power acoustik amplifiers (8000w combined). 20 farad capacitor, and a bunch of other stuff i ordered like a battery, isolator, 0 guage wiring, etc.

yeah the power acoustiks is 1.333-ohms and the rockford was 2ohms or 4 ohms i cant remember but not 1 im sure about that.

yeah it hits really good. surprisingly good. i was more surprised with the performance from the type x then i am with the l7's.

if you buy a type x buy a 12 rather than a 10.

i need to make a better video of the l7's to show the difference between the two. example my rear view mirror, if my windows are up it drops down completely with 3 seconds.

if u havint already bought an amp and you want to give it just 600rms get an amp that can give out 600rms at 4 ohms. don't forget that the handling on a type x is 1000rms. just be sure of how much power you want.

also i do want to get the new l7's but i want 15's. probably will buy them soon in like a month or two.

probably buy 2 15's or maybe 3 if i want to go deaf quicker. put those in a ported enclosure for my honda pilot.

i also have a 10" kicker solo x 2007 model. not hooked up though. i can post a video to showing it but really no point cause it aint hooked up.
