The song is ACTUALLY about how childhood. She talks about how she is the outcast of her country and family because she wants to pursue music as a career. Therefore she is the "little creepy girl" that she sings about. And the chorus, where she sings about "walking on air" is about the feeling she got when she finally went after her dream. She also says an important thing, "you know that i love you, go on". Which is what her family told her. They gave her their blessing to sing for the world. =D
