PRESS 9 to know what part I'm talking about. The stand is smart other that the fact that half of the vents are plugged. Kidding because heat rises the vents on the top is all it would need. But the heat is now going to the antennas! Wonder can the antennas can take the heat.

@Hokrollo1 You're assuming that a wifi router is only used for the internet. If you have more than 1 device on your network, that is where you're definitely going to benefit from the 450 Mbps speed. The faster the speed between devices on your local network, the faster you'll be able to transfer files back and forth, stream video and audio, etc.

@639426 how do you know your mid ranged e3000 is better than this hardcore " wireless router? the specs ALONE say my 300mb/s per sec netgear wndr3700 n600 is a better performer than your e3000 by cisco and the trendnet 450mb/s linu$ just unboxed has better specs than MINE.lol. It's like you're saying your 1992 ford tempo is faster than and just as dependable as a 2011 corvette z06. i've OWNED a pos 92 tempo and i currently own the civic si 2005 I tell you from experience you're full of bs.

@Willie6785 well 1. if you have two different devices ( example one 5hz compatible notebook pc & one 2.4ghz only compatible older pc ) BOth computers can connect to this router with the fastest possible ways if each is set to correctly connect. 2. also since in this example each pc is running wirelessly connected with TWO DIFFERENT ghz frequencies=lesser chance of unstable or dropped connections. ( most wireless devices run on or often ONLY on 2.4ghz type of channels to connect to router. cheers
