@FIREBAT103 yes, I've worked with vmware before but it was to run windows 7 on a mac computer rather. pretend your opening a video game on your computer that is just like a mac operating system, and you can save things on the mac side.
@mufferrs no no no. Mac OS X in vmware or natively runs on ANY Intel and ANY AMD processor. Obviously since Mac have switched to Intel it is A HELL OF A LOT EASIER to install it on a Intel system and will run better. But it does work on AMD. I have proof.
dude great tut .. but can u tell me how u get the mac os connected on the internet i have tried nat and bridge nothing workin, can u please tell me how to get it connected to the internet ?
i also have vista, and set spacific ip, so whats wrong should i let it on auto iop detected? what net to use nat or bridge ? and i also think that mac not ditecting my wireless card ! help.
I would guess that emulating the Mac OS X operating system bypasses hardware risks? Either way my PC has 2 GB ram so if your saying this can only be done if you have at least 1 GB, from what I read in the comments I'm fine. I'll try this, after all this is only an emulation which means it's simulating a Mac environment and not becoming one so I would guess this would work without any problems.
um yes you can. OS X Leopard's minimum requirements are 512MB of ram, and an 800mhz or faster proccessor in real life. Snow Leopard on the other hand needs at least 1GB of ram.
Depends on your computer as a whole. I've heard that on VMWare it lags a lot, but is usually dependable. I think if you don't have a lot of stuff on your hard drive, it should run fine.
Okay, well even though OS x is now x86 now (like Windows XP) This still doesnt explain how to get it running in a VM. By what I understand the x86's have there own special propietary bios. With that in mind it makes another hoop for you to jump through to install it in a VM. This video doesnt seem to explain it. Unless there's something I'm not aware of. It just jumps to partitioning the disk. I think you skipped a step. This is why people seem not to be able to follow this tutorial.

such a boring OS... why the hell would you want to install such a useless and incompatiable operating system!? have you relised mac software is double the size of windows software PLUS theres hardly anything thats actually compatible with mac, i bet all mac users are now ashamed of themselves for even giving it a chance!
So you saying that Intel, Amd, single core processors, Dual core and quad core all hamper the same architecture? You are an idiot. The cpu accessing the virtual environment CAN effect it, but considering i designated it the whole 2 cores, and 2 GB of ram, your assumptions are wrong.
well in a VM it can be laggy but if you are running it nativly on a pc its can be good and it can be bad it all depends on your hardware if mac will support it well like my older pc runs mac better than my newer one bc the hardware is supported better in my old pc
@hitachi654 macs get virus just like windows. Every Os gets viruses, even linux. If you know your computers, you would know that. Only on that is almost completely safe to run through with no big problems is linux, it has some virus out there, but it likes to alert you before hand if there is one about to install on you computer.
Dont even bother. I did exactly this, and as you can tell by the video, the PC'S architecture cant cope with the core animation so its real broken and laggy all the time. resolution? bY A mac.
You obviously don't know what you're talking about. The CPU architecture is the same in both PCs and Macs because they both use standard 32- or 64-bit processors. The Core Animation is laggy because of lack of CPU power in the virtual environment.
i downloaded a preinstalled version and it ran horribly. the video and chipset drivers wernt installed or something. or it could have been because a have an AMD CPU

Don't use VMware not only will it expire after 30 days it also takes up a lot of space. Instead try the open source "VirtualBox" by sun microsystems. It's free, small sized and much easier to use than vmware.
