I would guess that emulating the Mac OS X operating system bypasses hardware risks? Either way my PC has 2 GB ram so if your saying this can only be done if you have at least 1 GB, from what I read in the comments I'm fine. I'll try this, after all this is only an emulation which means it's simulating a Mac environment and not becoming one so I would guess this would work without any problems.

Forgive me sorry :) You could allocate 512MB Ram for vmware but if u have 512MB in your host it will not work good and your comp will start to lagg

um yes you can. OS X Leopard's minimum requirements are 512MB of ram, and an 800mhz or faster proccessor in real life. Snow Leopard on the other hand needs at least 1GB of ram.

Depends on your computer as a whole. I've heard that on VMWare it lags a lot, but is usually dependable. I think if you don't have a lot of stuff on your hard drive, it should run fine.

Okay, well even though OS x is now x86 now (like Windows XP) This still doesnt explain how to get it running in a VM. By what I understand the x86's have there own special propietary bios. With that in mind it makes another hoop for you to jump through to install it in a VM. This video doesnt seem to explain it. Unless there's something I'm not aware of. It just jumps to partitioning the disk. I think you skipped a step. This is why people seem not to be able to follow this tutorial.
