  • ROTF!

  • The costs are similar to KW, in my comparison after recruiting meetings with ReMax. Up-front, ReMax was slightly lower, but with the profit share I get (which could be much higher if I went for it), it came out about the same. But, KW is growing faster, gaining market share in most major cities, and has bigger offices with more resources. Online leads, ReMax may be better for now, but KW is dynamic and will pass them up soon if not already, and the result will be a tool by & for the agents.

  • Brilliant

  • LMAO!!!!

  • He makes too much money just for opening doors? I understand now why Realtors don't want to go back to fastfoods.

  • Awesome Video. Too many people don't know the facts about RE/MAX and believe the misinformation that is spread by the competition. RE/MAX is wonderfu and I am so happy to be associated with them. These videos are funny and trendy. Way to go!

  • Who are these totally funny guys??

  • you guys are doing a brilliant job with these videos!

  • Re/Max charges transaction fee that other company do not chage, beware...

  • what transaction fee?

  • LOL

  • DONT BUY INTO THE SECOND HOUSING BUBBLE!!!!

FANNIE AND FREDDIE ARE NOW IN THE TOP 20 FORTUNE 500 WITH THE WORST PROFITS ON THE WHOLE LIST!!!

  • This is so silly.. As an X RE/MAX agent I can tell you for a fact that by being at Keller Williams we pay less money and get 100% of our commissions... Yes I said 100% of my commissions for less money then I paid at RE/MAX. Ask me how?

  • @SHERRYDAMINSKI I was at KW and honestly RE/MAX is where it's at!! KW= no national website traffic, KW= always trying to sell you stuff like BOLD and coaching, Kw= no leads from national site, KW is a great company but NO KW is FREE! Kw charges a "cap" mine was $18,500! NO KW IS FREE. The sell you with the idea that "when u cap" u get 100% commission. I pay 700/month or just about 8000/ yr. Way less and an absolute steel for a national company. RE/MAX is where its at..

  • ahhhahhahahaha LOVE IT!

  • Oh Please ... this is as effective as (*^(^(^

  • if you're aliiiive.....they'll hire you.

    so funny!

  • HYSTERICAL!!! This advertising is so effective!!

  • Andrew. How do you suppose the brokerage pays for the building, the support staff, the heat, sir conditioning and hydro, management, training, phone systems, advertising etc. etc. etc............. Brokerages offer a split in lieu of the administration fee to provide flexibility to the individual. How did you think all of that was paid for? Magic?

  • REMAX is the BEST bar none! This is funny... and true!

  • That's funny!

But since it's coming from Re/Max international, there's some misleading info. in there.

I'm not sure about Re/Max agets in the U.S but here in Canada Re/Max brokerages do take a hefty chunk of your commission! Namely commission split!!!

Or if you want a better "split" there's some hefty monthly charges like $1000/month on top of your Re/Max regional fee which is roughly $300/month !!!!

I'd like to see Re/Max international try to explain that !!!

  • @theOneAndOnlyAndrew

Do you understand that all of the advertising and marketing RE?MAX has and does cost money right? RE/MAX's name sells itself.

  • @SRICHARDS11

Re/max regional and national offices finance the local and national advertisements through the monthly dues Re/Max agents pay not through the commission splits Brokerages have with their agents !!

    You understand that right ?

The point I was raising was directed to the notion of Re/Max agents have a far better commission splits as opposed to other brokerages! Mentioned frequently in these videos....

    That's misleading advertising !

  • @theOneAndOnlyAndrew Some people just don't get it and that's okay... With RE/MAX you have a fixed cost, so you can sell 3 homes or 100 homes and you know what you owe RE/MAX Annually... This "is" the reason more Top Producing Agents prefer RE/MAX and WHY RE/MAX Sells More Real Estate In The World Than Anyone.... If you are successfully selling RE, why not limit your office expenses AND know what they are REGARDLESS of how well you do. I realize I just wasted 2 minutes explaining this.... LoL

  • @SRICHARDS11

And as a Re/max agent I believe that misinformation might even back fire for the agents at the listing presentations!

Pay more attention to the contents and dialogues of the video and you would understand.

  • One of the best thus far! Way to go Brent!

  • Very funny! Love it!! Why I work for RE/MAX!

  • That's Neebs & Doraleous!

  • Comment removed

  • This is so true!!!! Wow. Hilarious how we sometimes fall victim!

  • I only watched this for Big Worm. I don't care one way or the other about RE/MAX.

  • looks like you guys did a lot of work on it and it really payed off:D

you guys make me lought all the time :D

  • Doraleus and Neebs!

  • OK. I've heard it all. I've consulted every major brand in the industry. Bottom-Line, if you're a full-time, professional, producer you will NOT find the resources, leads, brand, opportunity, comaraderie, and experienced peers for a lower investment than at RE/MAX. If you CB'ers doubt it, check your statement... including the parts you never understood. You're paying franchise fees, tech fees, admin fees, ad fees, then you're taking a split. Add that up over a year. KW... worse than CB.

  • @frankconsulting PS. I was asked to consult on the broken Lead Router system. It doesn't work, never did. RE/MAX's Lead Street is insane at how many leads it sends its agents... for free! Prudential agents are paying some of the highest fees in the industry. All the Realogy brands are scrambling because their old business models cannot pay the bills. They're bleeding every month and their brands are slowly and surely tacking on new fees each month while they watch their top people go to RE/MAX.

  • @frankconsulting PSS. KW just teased their new lead management system and drip marketing CRM and guess what? I was on the consulting team that watched them toil over what third party systems to use and it doesn't work. Great concept, but it doesn't work... kinda like their profit sharing pyramid marketing approach to recruiting agents and creating a "downline." Only the team leaders and center managers see any cash. The stats don't lie. No one sells more real estate than RE/MAX. #1 world wide.

  • I disagree.......Agents do give value to the Brand. They also then give value to the agent! It all works hand in hand. I can tell Haller that you are a KW agent and do not know the truths. Yes...there are agents that are in debt.....they would be in debt at your company or RE/MAX. A non-producing agent is a non-producing agent regardless of where they work at! Learn the real facts as appearantly you do not understand all of them. RE/MAX is not for everyone.....maybe it's just not for you!

  • Not too many agents can afford to be with Re/max where I live. They have HUGE desk fees. It's more of a landlord tenant agreement. Some agents are apparently in debt to the tune of 10K or 20K. Many home owners/buyers I speak with agree that the brokerage you are with is not as important as the agent themselves. A fully licensed, insured, hardworking, well connected, knowledgeable and reputable agent is what you need whether they are with Sutton, Coldwell Banker, Royal LePage or Re/max..

  • icanfeelthebeat- obviously a highly educated person who knows everything about real estate and feels that our job is so easy with no weekends or after hours appointments and no liability. We just show up and collect a check. Its so easy and costs nothing to be an agent and apparently his builder isnt much better. This person should build their own house and sell it on their own for no profit! Its that easy!

  • The Biggest on the Block.

  • The problem with real estate agents is that they're all douche bags. They demand nearly as much commission as the designers who designed the buildings and they do less than 1% of the work that the designer did, and they don't need any real schooling to become a real estate agent.

  • Wow, this is a really well done video! So let me ask everyone out there a question. We all get “recruited” all the time, but the vast majority never switch brokers. So why is that? (ok here’s the deal on answering… you have to answer intelligently. You can’t say ‘cause I like my office/broker (everyone does or they would have left already). And you can’t say because I’m only paying “xxx” in rent/desk fees or my split is “xxx/xxx” (‘cause in reality you can always find cheaper right?)

  • I was with RE/MAX and I make a TON more without them. If you are just starting out I think a company like RE/MAX helps b/c you have not built a brand yet. No office offers 100% commission. The one I was with charged $250 a month for a 85/15 split and $995 a month for a 95/5 split plus e&o charge. I now pay $40 a month, pay a $250 transaction fee and $40 e&o which I get covered in my $299 MLS fee. The only item I miss about RE/MAX is the referrals that sometimes come in from online hits

  • That was hilarious! How do I make less money at New Stuff?

  • I'm with RE/MAX after switching twice...I'm done switching!

  • Most Remax offices I know off charge a referral fee for business they provide the agent? Not to mention there are no protected territories for Franchise owners and they are starting to hire agents based on the standard split available at other agencies. They should tell the whole truth in the ad!

Our Sales agents pay $249 a month and collect 100% of their commissions. Our Rental agents pay $99 a month and collect 100% of their commission.

  • Nice Glengarry reference.

  • LMAO!... I love this!!

  • This is hilarious. They should have put the "other" Realtor in shiny 2005 Nissan Maxima or a 8 year old Mercedes the classic Realtor cars.

  • It's pretty simple. If you're a producer, RE/MAX makes sense. If you're not, it doesn't. RE/MAX also brings the best tools in the business to the table, and the 800 pound gorilla known as brand recognition.

  • @MartyREMAX - Marty love your stuff - hilarious! The video's good too. By the way according to NAR, when it comes to brand reconition, only 4% of people choose their agent because of who they worked for - but I do get your point!

  • @ListAgent Thank you for that. I think its only 3% though. 97% don't care about brokerage. The other 3% must be those moving from NY to LA that don't know an agent, then I can see going with a national brand.

  • STUPID!!!

  • halarious'

  • @joellecouglin Guess what?? When you work for a company with a commission split you are not only paying YOUR desk fees, you are paying the desk fees for EVERY non-producer twiddling their thumbs and playing solitaire on their computer all day. Add it up....if you are a producer, you are losing anywhere but at Re/Max.

  • This is genius! RE/MAX is for top producers...not for those waiting for success to fall in their lap.

  • Amazing!! I AM THE DRIVER OF THAT CAR!! just decided to leave the company I started with in May for every single thing that driver mentions, RIGHT DOWN TO THE EXACT PERCENTAGES!! Not sure if I will end up with Re/Max, but this video was definately worth watching!

  • Baloney... this video is stupid.. Re/Max is not all that it is cracked up to be.. not now-a-days. You are paying desk fees and all of your marketing costs. So .. are you really making 95%??? Come on....

  • The people built the brand, now the brand is helping build the people. Why work harder instead of smarter, especially in this market?

  • It's simple, if you DON'T produce, the "high" fees will be too much for you. If you produce (sell) you save from the lack of splits on your sales. Plus my fees go to marketing the best recognized brand in the industry. Our marketing opens doors and allows me to sell sell sell. I put my numbers to the test all the time with other brand's fees, splits, and misc costs and REMAX always wins because of what they give me back and what I keep. So actually please don't join REMAX, I don't want to

  • Hilarious!!! RE/MAX Rocks. We just recruited 4 more top producers at our office.

  • Been with RE/MAX for 23 years. Now I know why.

  • This is hilarous! =) Well done....

  • Brilliant!

  • OMG!!! I love this....just too funny, WHY wouldn't an agent want to be at RE/MAX!!

  • Hilarious video! Did you go to my former company to get the story line?? After the expected monthly fee, the potential is endless and the brand name recognition is undeniable. FEE/MAX indeed!

  • Good things it's not all about the money in our business? This is a poor reflection on Re/Max - no wonder agents are dropping from Re/Max left & right!

  • Oh yeah OK then!

  • RE/MAX Fees are up finite--you don't get dinged on EVERY deal. You pay the amount you expect to and then you are done! Come on...FEE/MAX...REALLY now, you just don't get it--RE/MAX does it RIGHT!

  • have a sense of humor folks...we do! RE/MAX rocks!

  • Remax: what about mentioning the high fees charged to agents...should we start calling you Feemax?

  • @Evangelina4270

you probably want to get some education on this...RE/MAX agents pay a fixed monthly fee JUST once, other companies agents pay 30,40,or 50% of every sale they make, so if they have 3 closings in a month they pay that on each one, RE/MAX agents pay once and keep the rest!!! It's not rocket science, it's simple math...been doing this now for 17years and it's working for me! RE/MAX sells more real estate than anyone else in the world! now that's a fact!

  • @sunshinedml

thanks for your input...you're right, other companies do get 30, 40 or 50% of every sale they make. However not all companies and not on every sale, there's a cap. Paying the Re/Max fee is like paying a mortgage, your broker will not forgive it, it will keep accumulating and will have to be paid from your next closing. If an agent does not make the 3 sales you're talking about, they will have to be paid from your next closings; then what do you bring home. it's not rocket science!

  • @sunshinedml

I'm glad it didn't take me 17 yrs to see the light. I'm glad is working for you, cheers!

  • @Evangelina4270

When I started in 1987 I worked for another company for 6 yrs and gave them 50% of everydeal I put together, then I joined RE/MAX and tripled my income, so I've had 17 yrs of phenomenal success with RE/MAX....honestly you have to be committed, driven and a true business person to be a RE/MAX agent, and I'm proud to be one of the many "outstanding agents" at RE/MAX.

  • Remax: have you mentioned all the above the crowd Fees -max (your nickname)

  • You're right, it's only funny if you're already with RE/MAX .....Ha HA HA HA HA Ha

  • Why would you even make this video? Pretty sorry that you feel like you have to make this video..Putting down other companies? how unproffesional .

  • @AliceCullenFan09

    Exactly, UNPROFESSIONAL. Good call Alice.

Re/Putz. Way to go...way to mock the industry. Jackwagons.

  • Reverse psychology – who says it doesn’t work. Good job – great video!

  • Awesome video!!!
