The Symphony in C is a symphony by the French composer Georges Bizet. According to Grove's Dictionary, "In quality and craftsmanship it has few rivals and perhaps no superior among the work of composers of such tender years".
The symphony was written in November 1855, when Bizet was just seventeen, evidently as a student assignment. It is written for a standard orchestra, without trombones.

Why all the photos of OTHER ballets, when there are so many of SYMPHONY in C around? Very strange!
If not for all the irrelevant (misleading?) illustrations, attractive though they are, I'd have rated this *****.
