Woweee..Scott..did you really struck it so very rich with THESE incredible, kaliedoscopedly-awesome in-depth tornado footages.....which would make any other tornado-enthrallist mouth water like a huge waterfall....I love also the lightning shots, the rotating wall clouds..and at the very end..how that tornado was in kinky and twisted-rope forms....like a CG would be shaped as... Again, Scott..I'm so happy I found this treasure-troved collage of such in-depth tornado shots in my 'Email INbox!!
@tstormmoulton1 So glad you enjoyed the video!! I had a great time putting it together and feel very lucky to have seen some amazing storms over the last 12 years. Through all this though, I never forget how destructive these storms can be.
@tornadovideostock .. I'm so glad you enjoyed constructing this awesome ''Emmy-nominee winner'' tornado video, Scott..as much as my and we-Tstorm/tornado buffs enjoyed watching it from start to finish. 12 years of watching and videoing such amazing violent/tornadic Tstorms? Woweee.. Scott..I bet even ''Howard Bluestein's'' never seen that many tornadoes in 12 years like you have..anyways...looking forward to more such awesome videos you can compile together..and I'll be ready...to VIEW:-)
Really awesome chases over the years Scott, well done. I didn't know you was the one that captured the tornado ripping about that house. That footage is famous i see it all the time being used on TV.
@Ecw4Lyfe Thanks! And yep, that footage of the house getting hit I shot on May 12th, 2004 just east of Attica, KS. It has been showed many times on TV and is definitely my most recognizable shot. I am just glad that the occupants of the home were unharmed. They had a cement reinforced basement that they took shelter in.
@tornadovideostock No problem. I'm amazed on how you zoomed in and boom you get the closeup shot of that roof being ripped from the home. That's good to hear that they were in an reinforced basement that's made of cement
Awesome compilation, Scott! You've shot some great footage over the years! I especially like your footage of the Fairview, OK tornado of May 24, 2011. Great work!
@StormChaseArizona Thanks so much for watching!! The Fairview tornado of this year was amazing! Just us, the birds, the faint sound of the sirens and the tornado. Truly amazing.
@KansasStormVideos The DVD you sent was great! And no worries, you'll see many more storms, and tornadoes over the next 10, 20, 30+ years! Thanks for watching Nathan!
@siobhan104 In terms of tornadoes witnessed that would be 2004 and 2011. Damage wise that would be 2007. We were just east of Greensburg, KS on May 4th, 2007 but couldn't see the tornado in the dark but about a week later we helped bring some supplies into Greensburg that had fallen off a truck just outside of town and saw the damage first hand. Truly terrible what happened there.
Scott, every single time you upload a new video Im just so happy i subscribed. Once im old enough + have enough money, Id LOVE to make a trip to the USA just to see one myself.
In the meanwhile I can watch your videos, they're just as awesome :D!
@BlueOnRS Thanks so much! Really glad you've enjoyed my videos :) And no worries, I'm sure you'll get your chance to see these amazing storms first hand one day. When I first became interested in the weather I was just 13 years old. I enjoyed the storms that came through my neighborhood until the day finally came that I was able to chase away from home. You'll get there too my friend. All the best!
I congratulate you for the work and for your courage to risk and and to succeed you can share with us such great moments of severe tornadic supercell thunderstorms. I really think you're a very good stormchaser with a lot experience in severe weather events. I like storms and especially supercells more than anything else and I have very much respect for those who which are dedicated to the study and chasing this beautiful thunderstorms.
@ExtremeSpinner99 Thanks so much! I still have a lot to learn though and I'm very much looking forward to the process over the coming years to learn and witness as much as I can about these storms.
How far away are these tornadoes from where your recording? They look so close. I've been setting here watching these in awe at what i'm seeing. Amazing. Thanks for sharing this. Great job!
@lovethatcat2 Yes, lol...some of them did appear quite close, and in a few cases we were a bit close but for the most part we like to stay back between 1/2 and 1 mile. I utilize my zoom lens for the real close up shots! So glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks so much for watching!
cheers for all your effort in capturing and sharing! cheers for sharing the enthusiasm! i've given myself 10 years to film a torando in victoria, australia, i'm one year down! the hunt continues!
@tornadovideostock Do you do this as a hobby, or do you work for some weather station? I want to chase storms like you guys! How can I? I'm in college and hpe to pursue something in weather. Any advice? Thanks.
