@rawwritscait this is from before the big skill nerf. if you look in my assassin playlist you'll find a newer version for farming cores, but the RA version is quickest by far (look in my ranger playlist)

Hey there.Can you tell me how much energy you have and the stats you use on your weapon?Cuz i've been trying this build lately and theres always a part where i either run out of energy, or my shadow form doesn't recharge in time.Any tips?=/

so wut is the difference in HM and NM? i tried this and it worked well in HM, i lasted 8min until the rits killed me... but yeah does HM have more dcore drops or NM?

Collectables and materials are not affected by NM/HM in anyway whatsoever. Forget the hype about HM being the only way to farm (clueless newbs with no understanding of the game mechanics)

Time wise, again not really any difference for perma whereas other prof's may find it quicker in NM

lol how you can deal 15 dmg i always do aroud 9 when permaing them end how you can keep energy up i trying reptors(easy way) with that asura skill but i always get very low energy when using it

i'm using a Charr staff from the gwen bonus mission (freebie) and a Saurian Scythe which drops from chests near raptors

You will get cores faster in NM, as the chance of alot of other drops are smaller increasing the the chance of cores to drop.

On the other hand they attack faster in HM and you get alot more golds and tomes in HM.

But if only going for cores NM should be the best option.

Same goes for farming consumable doing events :)

I get more cores in HM when I do this with my E/Mo...

personally i don't see any difference between nm & hm for d.cores or even for time. HM kills the first half of the mob quicker but slows down towards the end where NM catches up. Sometimes you will get 0 others you might get upto about 8.

On the other hand i would have thought EMo in NM would be quicker due to the extra dmg skill

When i was getting my gloves for my ele, it speed it up alot switching to NM, but drops can be alot random so might just be me being lucky.

Could be fun starting a drop search on them though :)

like i say, should make a difference with ele because you get an extra dmg skill in nm, whereas perma is using the same skill set for nm/hm so theres no real difference for him imo

you're the other person i've ever heard of using a scythe besides me. every one is like, no you idiot you''ll die because of vengeful weapon. and wow, Air of Superiority help out a lot. i really need to get it on my sin.

VW never really got me on this run, but yeh if it does AoS should cover you, if not, just stop swinging and switch back to your staff while you regen, then back to scythe :D
