lol that gorilla point was just addressing an illogical argument with one of his own... as for that girl babbling at the end, she came across like a complete and utter airhead...
@omgwowleet And whales are even bigger and stronger and eat nothing but meat. That's another point for you to use. The fact is that only human models are useful in determining correct human diet.
@bohewe Why organic? What's the difference? "Listen to those who aren't selling anything." In that case, you'd have to avoid organic because that's the biggest "selling" bunch of nonsense I've ever seen.
Politics also means NOTHING! Only science means anything where nutrition is concerned and all evidence points to human beings being properly nourished and broadly defined as omnivores.
"Some of the strongest animals in the world are vegan" ... When are people going to realize that animal models mean nothing. Need I point out that THE biggest strongest animal the world has EVER KNOWN (the blue whale) eats almost nothing BUT meat? What humans need to do is figure out what is genetically correct and biochemically proper for the human body to consume AND UTILIZE! and eat that and exactly that ... period.
Vegan body fluid out classes animal based filth in every respect.
Why would you want to suck on a human body composed of animal flesh/fluids? B/c you don't know the difference.
Vegans have a higher developed sense of smell/taste and are usually repulsed by human vessels composed of animal flesh.
Would you eat a cow fed/raised on meat? That cow would be sick indeed. Cows will eat meat, just like humans will eat meat and both will suffer the effects.
@generatrix999 All human bodies are composed of animal flesh and fluids, dumb ass! There is no evidence that anything you've said has ANY basis in science whatsoever.
people are in denial about veganism, they just can`t except it,so they have to label the truth and the truth giver as bullshit, they just don`t want to hear it,"it`s not what we know or don`t know that hurt us as much as what we don`t want to know, many ppl like natmane just want to stay ignorant it`s easier that way,it`s a lazy mind that does`nt want to wake up
No Vegan should tell somone to stop eating meat the same way no Meat eating person should tell someone not to be a vegan.
You cannot say that death to animals is wrong, thats the general rule of being top of the food chain. We eat more of them than they do us.
It is however the excess, and the killing to simply overindulge ourselves, that is worng. The supersize option, the taking of more than we actually need.
But thats what mankind's been doing best for the last 50 years isnt it?
@moonsugar1 i agree with you on the most parts. But isnt pointing to the past when it comes ethics about food.. pretty much the same as giving a green light for another human slaughter like WW2 as well? I bet u dont wanne end up in a camp.
you are right on the rest tho. read about how macdonalds started mass producing with its concept. around 1948. everything had be so uniform and cheap, its insane. where ever u reduce costs, someone or something pays for the difference.animals&employees
@moonsugar1 being top of the food chain means more power, and with more power comes more responsibility. Morality DEMANDS it. NO way round that.
Now, you're going to say morality is arbitrary, and it's only a human persective, BUT...it connects with and is a part of a larger Earth morality, because it's better for the environment.
Eating meat is inHERENTLY 'taking more than you nedd, because of the amunt of grain etc an animal eats in a lifetime, and the amount of animals YOU eat in a lifetime
@natmanprime I dont really get your point my friend, dont animals eat other animals as well as grain, is that inherently wrong of them too? How can it be when you quite rightly pointed out that they are acting without morality?
@AERONOOB I also dont quite get the ww2 link, but i actually just got back from camping! lol. Could'nt agree more tho, it does seems to be our way now that a light turns on in one part of the world whilst another is left in darkness.
@moonsugar1 you cant compare us with other animals because we're the top of the chain.
THEY are trapped in their niche, their populations restricted. BBy all menas if you want our population to dwindle to that of the average carnivorous mammal, then carry on carnivorous behaviour.
We are currently around 8 billion strong.
once you go veggie, u can leave all the lights on and drive around in a humvee all day
@moonsugar1 i have no life so i checked it this night.
ok...so we're running out of oil.
Um...that doesn't explain why what i said was "complete rubbish", nor was there a hope of it doing so, since it was a matter of basic maths (but never mind that...)
unless of course, the notion that 1) people eat alot of animals and 2)they eat alot of grain in a lifetime
are somehow wrong...
only 2 options left:
1)u have an agenda
or
2) ur in in plain denial cos u don't wanna give up your meat
@natmanprime "Once you go veggie you can leave the lights on and drive a humvee." If the whole world became vegan it would have NO impact on the real problems. Do you now understand that the majority of veg you eat is grown using ddt's and additives made from fossil fuels? The only agenda i have is to make people aware of the potential collapse, and I dont want to give up my meat because I enjoy eating it and giving it up never crossed my mind.
@natmanprime You have a strange definition of denial, you seem to have confused it with choice. But i dont come onto youtube to argue, I only watched this video cos im a big fan of Benjamin's work! I'm sure we can agree to disagree and move on. I hope you enjoyed the doc and if you get bored one night I'll send some more your way.
@moonsugar1 nothing strange about it, look: you know that people are talking about meat is bad, so u know DAMN WELL that not eating it crossed your mind as an issue. but as u say, u chose not to.
so thats denial right there
next: u don't face the plain facts that even if everythings chemically poisoned, that doesn't LOGICALLY NEGATE the fact that eating meat uses 1000s of times more grain and resources and energy, meat is unhealthy, we can't eat nothing, so you're avoiding LOGIC.
@natmanprime And I told you I don't eat fries. Stop trying to imply that if I eat meat, I must get it from McDonalds and that the rest of my diet must be shit. No I'm not thick, I'm just not brainwashed like you. I also posted that when I don't eat meat, my health declines. These are FACTS. What would you like to address now, dipshit?
@natmanprime I don't replace it with anything I FUCKING EAT MEAT, MORON. What's wrong with you? Is English not your mother tongue or what? When I have left meat out of my diet in the past and replaced it with more fresh fruits and vegetables my health deteriorates. That's been my experience, that's why I eat meat. Am I talking in code here or are you just that stupid? Hint: try facepalming harder it's not jarring anything into proper function.
@natmanprime Nice way to take me out of context, dipshit. I don't currently replace it with anything because I'm including it in my diet. Nuts and beans are no substitute for meat because the protein in them is bound in fiber and not available through human digestion. You're a moron.
so all the vegans should be dead by now through lack of protein prof. Zaccone
Veganisms some new thing that no ones ever tried out before and we're finding out this shit for the first time ok prof
btw u took ME out of context not the other way round, u just got confused somewhere along the way, then all of a sudden realised what i was asking u LOL
i suppose i shouldve died by now since i been without meat for 2yrs ok prof
@natmanprime Actually, no. we're not finding this "shit" out for the first time. It's been examined many times, you're just ignoring the data. Your new post is as full of logical fallacies as the last one. Maybe some protein would straighten out your mental acuity and rational thinking.
@natmanprime Surviving and living are two different things. You're so fractally wrong in your posts that there's no sense in even discussing it. Have a nice day.
@natmanprime So what do you say to a healthy, happy, athletic, non vegan, like me who has tried to be vegan and CAN'T? Whose health declines anytime meat is completely eliminated from his diet? I'm not trying to back out of anything. I'm telling you what my experience is and asking you to explain it.
@natmanprime In addition, you'll convince me more that you're living if you learn to write in English. I'm not convinced and I have my own experience as evidence. You have yours. Where does that get us?
@natmanprime I've tried all that and NONE OF IT WORKED, ASSHOLE!!! Celebrities? who gives a shit! Celebrities change diets like they change shoes. Chances of some cancers go down while others go up, that's what's proven scientifically, DUMBASS! If a vegan diet works for you fine, it doesn't work for me and I tried for ten years. When I was vegan I lost muscle and gained fat. The way I eat now I gain muscle easily and lose fat. Maybe what works for one person doesn't for another?
@natmanprime De novo lipogenesis, DUMBASS! Go take high school biology again and this time pay attention when they talk about the Krebs Cycle. YOU'RE A FUCKING RETARD!
@natmanprime Meat is 50% fat? What kind of nasty nightmare meat are you talking about? Meanwhile, you recommend nuts, which get 70+% of their calories from fat and seem unaware that starch begins to convert to simple sugars BEFORE YOU EVEN SWALLOW IT! Starch becomes glucose, Nuts are a great source of fat if they don't contain too much ALA and meat and other proteins stimulate glucagon production promoting lipolysis. Which, if you didn't know (you didn't ) is the opposite of lipogenesis.
3 things can happen: either 1 its stored as protein
2 its stored as fat
3 its used as sugar.
u cant function without sugar, so u have to get it SOMEWHERE.
i know how much fat is in nuts, and how enzymes in the mouth BEGIN to break down starch. It still requires furhter braking down in the stomach by simple sugars.
@natmanprime You're last post is very unclear. 3 things can happen to what? You can't function without sugar? What kind of sugar? and where do YOU think it comes from? You know how much fat is in nuts? Then why did you say "hahahaa you ~CANT gain fat from ... nuts ... where's the fat coming from?" Then you called me a "lying turd". GO FUCK YOURSELF UNTIL YOU CAN KEEP YOUR OWN LIES STRAIGHT DUMB ASS!
well, i meant u cant get fat from using nuts as your only source of fat, because your body will tell you when to stop. Obviously nuts have fat in them, you'd have to be an idiot to think th...oh wait u are sorry.
anyway, i meant:
3 things can happen WHEN u EAT FOOD. point being, if u have a problem with sugar u cant just avoid it, u have to take it in a responsible way.
@natmanprime Actually, the reason it's hard to "get fat" from the fat in nuts is that it's largely monounsaturated which tends to promote insulin resistance less than saturated fats. The reason fat will "tell you when to stop" is because it stimulates secretion of cholecystokinin which is an appetite suppressant. Did you get all that? If not, start taking notes instead of pretending you know what you're talking about. You've oversimplified sugar to a kindergarten level again. WHAT KIND???
@natmanprime As for beans breaking down into protein and sugar, ONCE AGAIN, YOU FORGOT FIBER WHICH KEEPS THE INCOMPLETE PROTEIN IN THE BEANS FROM BEING BIOAVAILABLE AND LOWERS THE G.I. OF THE "SUGAR". The bottom line is, the more you talk the more it becomes evident that you have no idea what the fuck you're talking about. The proteins in animal products, (including meat) have a clear purpose in the human diet. Get over it.
@natmanprime You an hour ago - "Obviously nuts have fat in them" You a week ago - ""hahahaa you ~CANT gain fat from ... nuts ... where's the fat coming from?" Like I said, get your lies straight or SHUT THE FUCK UP!
@MrMZaccone hmmm...u sound very confused. why are u backing up my opinion in an informational way, and then complaining that i didnt explain it in a complicated enough way. And then getting angry about it.
And then demanding i educate you some more. "WHAT KIND??" lol
i was just making a point as to what theyre basically made of.
that's all.
i'm not saying u should get your sugar from beans or anything.
u obviously need fat to live, so why would i suggest a diet without any?
@natmanprime I'm not demanding that you educate me, asshole, I'm demanding that you be clear. there are different types of sugar and they all act differently in the body. What I'm complaining about is that you exhibit complete ignorance of the subject and then when I EDUCATE YOU, you say ... "Oh yeah, I knew that." Like a three year old trying to look smart. It's not working. It's obvious that your actual knowledge of food, its effect on the body and vice versa is woefully inadequate.
@natmanprime NO. I've already explained why beans and rice do not make a complete protein for human digestion. Hemp seed has the same problem and is only bioavailable as isolates. In addition, it cannot be said to be "more complete" than meat because the proportion of essential amino acids is not correct for human nutrition, particularly branch chain amino acids.
@natmanprime I'm not demanding you educate me, I'm demanding that you be clear. WHAT KIND OF SUGAR ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? Why shouldn't you get your sugar from beans? More importantly, why shouldn't you get your protein from beans? You have a childlike view of the whole process. "3 things can happen WHEN u EAT FOOD" Really? just three? Would that it were that simple. You on the other hand are exactly that simple and I'm sick of teaching a class on nutrition to an IGNORANT FUCK LIKE YOU!
@natmanprime Your flurry of deflections, ignorance, straw man arguments and other logical fallacies is getting tiresome. Did you get the hint when I said FUCK OFF? I'm done repeating myself.
@natmanprime Your'e doing a wonderful job. Listening to you could convince the public that veganism causes mental retardation and that Burger King is God!
"Raw Vegan" = Not cooking or heating food over 118 degrees, when you do heat or cook foods over 118 degrees its morphs and destroys 50-75% or all of the Enzymes, Proteins, amino acids, Nutrients, Vitamins, Minerals, + Whatever else it was carrying in it. So eat living foods to live, or eat died foods to die!
@Visualize630 Stomach acids also "morph" (the actual word you're looking for is "denature") enzymes, proteins and amino acids. That's how digestion works.
Dear Vegetarians, I love that you are halfway there, but you HAVE TO GO VEGAN. Most meat is actually -health-'ier' than most dairy. Meat is horrible for you, but dairy is far worse. Dairy products including yogurt, leech calcium from your bones, cause muscus to build up in your blood, retard your immune system (I could go on but won't) I'm 34, VEGAN and I don't touch dairy. Dairy cows suffer MORE than most slaughter cows. Learn the truth. Vegetarian is the first step, but keep going!
@natmanprime yes milk and cheese do contain calcium. Just like human-mother-milk. milk is very important shortly after birth. There is a reason why human females and animal females stop producing milk together with the slowing need of the youngster. After this start up period, animals learn from their mothers and by instint what to eat. A tiger starts eating raw flesh complete with blood and all :P, we humans get veggies from little jars, with all the calcium we need :p greatings!! :D
@AERONOOB i looked into this alot, and it seems to need all the other vitamins to work properly, esp. d and k, it has to be double the amount of magnesium, and the calcium must be taken in small amounts at a time...but always double the amount of magnesium...
but does dairy actually leech calcium??? thas what i want to know
@natmanprime i cannot give u advise on that as a docter could do when it comes to chemical things and amounts, and ofcourse i do not wanne go give people self-made-up numbers etc. But i do understand that whatever we eat, our very long digestive-system can take everything we need out of water and veggies and fruits and nuts etc etc. I trust u did ur homework on this, so ull understand why :p greatzz
@calico992 im about 80% there :P my gf agrees with the information i show and read to her plus the tons of videos on farming. But the taste of cheese is hard to resist for her :P. Its like gary yourofsky said, taste and habbit, 2 of the 4 mainreasons why we consume animal products. i dont really touch animal products anymore when it comes to eating. i might use products with animalcontent in it by accident, but i figured out a lot. i do feed my 2 cats raw ducknecks tho, they eat it all incl bone.
Humans, unlike gorillas and elephants, are omnivorous... which means that we NEED to eat both plants and animals. Not one or the other but both.
Meat is, and has always been, a major constituent of the human diet. Without it we would have to supplement our diets with iron, zinc, B vitamins and most importantly vitamin B12.
We kill and eat flesh. It's the natural order of things. It's these braided over-privileged hippies with too many piercings and a guilty conscious that dont
@00zzzyy No, i read it all. And you would have a point 20.000 years ago when a lot of food types weren't as readily available as it is now. In our day and age we can do just fine without eating meat.
Yes, is possible to live without meat... but is not preferable or natural. Even supplementing your diet with b12 it's not the same as the body assimilates it much better through actual meat instead of pills. For kids it's an even bigger issue since growing up without eating any meat can cause a number of growth problems.
@MeekInWisdom I think he looks about 46 and am far from amazed. I on the other hand am 50 and people guess me in my mid 30's all the time. I eat meat in addition to large amounts of nutrient rich raw fruits and vegetables. In fact, I try to get as varied a diet as possible while keeping tight controls on the proportions of protein, carbohydrates and fats in every serving.
To everyone talking about how large herbavors have to eat plants all day long: of course! I'm a veg and I'm always eating. I love it! I have large amounts of fruits, veggies & grains for meals, & I bring a can of nuts and dried fruit to work. Eating is ur bodys favorite thing to do. Its orally stimulating, keeps your system working, & keeps heartburn at bay. Eating non-stop without gaining an oz. is awesome! Why would u have it any other way?
OK my friendbut the Gorilla eats like 20 kg green to survive, and in some cases they eat meat. Elephants have to eat a lot of green to survive, and almost all day long they are looking for food.So good luck.
@sujoms ok gorillas don't eat meat they sometimes will eat insects but very rarely. I played college ball bench more than 400lbs work full time and go to school full time so you know I don' t spend my days grazing like you think
@toobeasty6 2 to 3% of the gorillas diet is insects depending on species and they spend almost all their waking hours foraging. In any case, only human models are suitable for determining proper human nutrition.
@lemurdue I guess you are referring to the chick in the vid? Sure she looks good. I didn't say they repelled people from sex, but tbh they're not doing a great job of promoting vegetarianism.
are gorillas really vegan? i saw a monkey cannibalize a baby monkey on the primates episode of planet earth. They weren't gorillas tho. I think they were chimps which are way less chill creatures.
@S0u11ess : Gorillas are basically folivores but likely consume insects in the process of eating all that foliage. It takes up 50-60% of their day foraging and eating. Comparing natural herbivores and folivores to humans is ridiculous. Its an apples to oranges comparison. Humans are neither folivores nor are they herbivores so to conclude that because herbivores and folivores are some of the biggest and strongest animals in the world is completely irrelevant to the human species.
@auggiedoggy : I was commenting on what the man in the video said. He uses unscientific arguments to justify his lifestyle. If you want to be a vegan, fine! Just don't use silly arguments like this guy.
@auggiedoggy A point in your favor is that THE biggest, strongest animals on earth, whales, eat nothing but meat. It is of course as you've pointed out, also completely irrelevant.
@S0u11ess Gorillas get 2-3% of their diet from insects depending on species and chimps are way more relevant because they're genetically and taxonomically so much closer to humans.
im vegan, i used to eat 8 chicken breasts a day to gain muscle. and it worked, but, now that im vegan, i gain MORE muscle, harder muscle, im faster, i think clearer, and...well..my dicks harder. so..i honestly think its been an amazing change for myself and for my girlfriend lol. i love being vegan. :D
@dustman "i think clearer" ... You mean "more clearly". "Think" is a verb. "Clearer" is an adjective. "Clearly" is an adverb. Now, go get some animal protein in your diet and learn to write clearly. Of course 8 chicken breasts a day is ridiculous, don't be an ass. That could even cause the body to break down its own muscle tissue to use protein as an energy source, depending on your carbohydrate intake.
i fail to be convinced by this video. i don't have a problem with vegans, but i don't understand why so many of them need to tell me that eating meat is a horrible thing.
@historyofmetal so what you're saying is, i don't think it's wrong to deprive an animal of it's life, take it away from it's family, cut it's throat, spill it's blood and then eat and call it okay? i'm sorry but that is extremely selfish. Veganism(i'm vegetarian) is not an opinion. however you do it, killing is inhumane, just like even if a human is murdered by a shot to the head, we lock that person up in prison continued. . .
@guitarhero666759 no, i don't. it's not selfish, it's just the nature of life. humans are naturally designed to eat animals. is it inhumane for a lion to kill a gazelle?
murdering anything is wrong if it is for the wrong reasons. i don't think animals should be killed for no reason, but it is only natural for us to eat them.
i do agree that the methods we have of mass producing animals for meat, and i am including farming, are horrible. but hunting is something that animals do.
@historyofmetal so why should we lock up that murderer in prison but give slaughterhouses and butchers money. they are also murderers? they are also killing living beings, beings that have feelings, have emotions, have families. what gives us the right to deprive them of that, and enjoying each others company? needlessly? this is wrong. you can't justify it. humane means showing compassion and benevolence, therefore killing is not humane. killing is not compassionate, it is not benevolent.
@historyofmetal yeah, we're not animals, we're humans. you can't compare a lion to a human, a lion doesn't have the intelligence to stop and think about whether this is wrong, whereas we do. we're not actually designed for eating meat, for example, a carnivores stomach has strong hydrochloric acids in the stomach, whereas herbivores and humans have stomach acids 20 times weaker than that of a carnivore continued. . .
@guitarhero666759 correct, humans do have the intelligence to stop and think whether what they do is wrong or not. but that's not the argument, i am saying that it is not wrong to eat meat because that is how nature works. and we ARE designed to eat meat. we are designed to be able to digest both meat and vegetation. we are different from most hunters because we are able to use tools to catch prey, when most animals are not. but it is still part of the fundamental design of a human.
@historyofmetal if by "that's how nature works" you mean survival of the fittest, then according to this logic we should stop putting people in jail for killing people and stealing etc, as they are only trying to survive. "we ARE designed to eat meat" does not make it a fact, that comment requires some evidence. and our ability to use tools doesn't justify it. instinctively we're not killers, majority of people couldn't kill an animal so brutally. (continued). . .
@guitarhero666759 That's nonsense. Being a social species we will of course put those who are anti-social in jail just as chimpanzees sometimes gang up and kill the largest, most brutal members of their groups. Survival involves more than just individual strength and individual cleverness geared towards individual goals and this is true of animals as well as humans. Your point is idiotic. As for design ... we aren't designed, period. Historically, primitive man ate lots of meat.
@historyofmetal how many people could actually keep an animal in their backyard and then cut it's throat any time you want to eat meat? no one's violent instinctively, ask any child to cut a sheeps throat and watch the look on his face when he is asked to do this. as you can see it's easy to justify your desire to eat meat, but if you look at it "naturally" it becomes clearer that instinctively we're not designed to eat meat, furthermore not even perform acts of violence. it's how nature works.
@guitarhero666759 Humans are animals. Pick up a biology book and see what animal kingdom we're in and see who's our closest genetic relatives, typical human, so arrogant to separate themselves from nature. Humans are more closely related to a herbivore, no disagreement with you there.
@SSJJackAzz well if you'd like to classify yourself as an animal then that's exactly how you will behave. There is no actual evidence of us being related to apes either, i'm sure if were to read even just a few pages of Michael Cremo's books on archaeology you will see how the mainstream ideas are false. For instance a mortar and pestle as well as other tools were discovered under Table mountain, the rock strata they were found in were dated as early as 55million years old.
@guitarhero666759 A 55 million year old mortar and pestle? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!! YOU'RE AN IDIOT! and so is anyone who believes that.
@MrMZaccone : A disturbingly large number of people on this planet hold on to the belief that we are not animals. I mostly blame religion for pushing this fallacy to the masses.
@historyofmetal if you look at our teeth, you will see that they're not sharp, even a household cat puts our canines to shame. carnivores have more canines than molars, and have long and pointy teeth. herbivores have mostly flat teeth, and rounded jaws for grinding vegetation. carnivores have many natural hunting abilities such as night vision. a natural hunting skill humans lack is the speed and agility to catch a wild animal with their bare hands. look up for yourself
@guitarhero666759 The Venus Flytrap lacks any agility whatsoever, and has no teeth, claws or a brain capable of even conceiving of predation. IT ALSO EATS MEAT! Your arguments are moronic.
We spoiled westerners need to take responsibility and not consume things that harm nature and animals, things that take ridiculous amounts of resources to produce. By that I mean animal products. We have the ability to choose, lets choose the better out of the worse, for the sake of our health and our planet.
years have passed and 80% of the world's population cannot digest meat without digestive suppliments and while this is happening the human race's greatly increased flatulence blows a hole in the ozone layer so large we might have well just saved the time and killed ourselves now by clubbing ourselves to death with frozen legs of lamb...
Also think about what would happen if all humans were Vegan. Millions would starve in arid areas, animal populations would explode, exploitable food resources would be reduced and we'd end up killing the animals anyway to make more space for us to grow food on, the entire earth would become a farm, there would be even less free space causing populations to start to become disapproving of the new reigime but by then 150
@xNewAgeWarriorx I agree that all humans can't be vegan, in poor countries that is. But your arguments are just... seriously, animal populations would explode? So your argument is this - if we would not eat domestic animals we would just continue to breed them for eternity? Or if we humans would not eat wild animals they would continue to breed and their population would explode? :D You think meat production would take less land and resources than producing plant foods directly for humans?
@xNewAgeWarriorx I just needed a confirmation from you that you actually meant what you were saying. Seems like you seem more stupid than I actually thought.
@LaraHastings So don't post anything that changes this, just say I am stupid without evidence. You fucking pussies never actually add any relevant knowledge. We breed domestic animals and most are neutered, that's why they don't overflow you fucking idiot.
Sustained Veganism over generations can damage the human body's ability to digest animal proteins and sugars leading to the early onset of Lactose inteolerances and dairy allergies now show me the non-hypocritical vegan solution to babies that starve because they can't absorb the calories in their mother's milk when the substitutes are animal products.
I have been vegan for two weeks now after being vegetarian for years .... all i can say is that ive never felt healthier and more happy since making the switch ! If you still have doubts about going vegan look up the film "Earthlings " i rest my case !
I seriously think vegans and vegetarians can be as healthy as a meat-eater, and even more...This being said, let me tell you this; EVEN IF it was impossible to be healthy without eating meat, I would still not eat meat, I`d rather live 20 years less, I`d rather have low energy and small muscles all my life, if I can save thousands of animal lives from captivity, torture and premature death, if I can preserve the environment from meat industry pollution, etc... yes, I`d rather be a vegan,GET IT?
Vegans health problems outweighs the benifits. Low iron, B vitamin deficeincy and reduced testosterone. Not to mention its hard to scoff down nearly enough protein as a vegan without freaking out on protein shakes.
@xNewAgeWarriorx The lack of vitamin B12, B6, iron and protein is the only problem caused by vegetarianism. There`s nothing easier than eating a few soy meats, peanuts, beans, milk or soy milk to get back all these nutriments and even more, without the antibiotics/ herbicides/ pesticides lying in meat! No big deal, being vegetarian is easier than people think, you get healthier and you save animals from captivity, torture and premature death! ABOLITIONISM OF THE MEAT INDUSTRY!!! Haha^.^
@ohouui You can't get those nutrients back, and of the few that you can get back it cost's way more, soy is also a shit food. How can you claim you get all those things back if you still have a defficiency.Did I mention soy is a shit food, don't eat it.Organic meat, there no Antibiotics/Cocaine/Speed in the meat.Plants also feel just as much as animals so the whole save the animals is a load of shit.
@xNewAgeWarriorx First, yes you can get all the meat nutrients by eating alot of other things, without killing any animals. I don't feel bad eating a peanut falling from a tree, as it`s dead, get it? Second, even biological, the animal meat is still a product, the result of a raising against the will of the animal, well treated or not, and it`s still killing it at about half of its life, which can't be defended. Third, WTF soy is shit? NO. Fourth, plants having feelings? LMFAO! bye!
@ohouui Plants do feel reasearchi it dont just say ROFLMAOCOPTER IGNORE. Who gives a shit if I kill somthing, is the ethics police gonna throw me in jail.EVERYTHING EATS OTHER THINGS.Soy decreases testosterone, how is that not shit. Seriously soy is a horrible food. Its called research you POS. Not only are you doing a holier than thou bullshit argument your also just saying SOY RUELZ with no backup.
@ohouui So the real question is: is soy bad for you? Soy is loaded with trypsin inhibitors that prevent proper protein digestion; goitrogen which inhibits thyroid function; phytic acid, a fiber that impairs absorption of minerals; and phytoestrogens which dangerously increase the estrogen hormone.
@xNewAgeWarriorx The goitrogens are only active in raw soybeans, no one eats raw soybeans. Goitrogens are ingested in almost every raw vegetables though, some berries and peanuts, should we stop eating all this then? Trypsin inhibitors slow down the protein absorption, yes, but even then the absorption is equivalent to meat (Egg white has a score of 1.00, beef 0.92, isolated soy protein 0.92, and soy concentrate 0.99).
@ohouui I dont eat penuts or berries. And you eat small amounts of penuts because its a fat and keeps you full, has high caloric content and digests slower. What berries...?Isolated soy protein is almost never ever eaten,Even then you get estrogen so why eat it?Never mind beef has creatine, iron and allot of other usefull things.Egg whites are not good to eat anyway, The yolk contains half the protein and and some nice saturated fat which is essential for testosterone production.
@xNewAgeWarriorx And the questions you ask me can easily be answered on internet, I`m tired of researching for people who will contradict me and refute all the facts I found from several different sources. thanks.

lol that gorilla point was just addressing an illogical argument with one of his own... as for that girl babbling at the end, she came across like a complete and utter airhead...
g2thaz 6 months ago
@omgwowleet And whales are even bigger and stronger and eat nothing but meat. That's another point for you to use. The fact is that only human models are useful in determining correct human diet.
MrMZaccone 6 months ago
@bohewe I eat meat and have never been healthier in my life. SO WHAT?
MrMZaccone 6 months ago
@bohewe Why organic? What's the difference? "Listen to those who aren't selling anything." In that case, you'd have to avoid organic because that's the biggest "selling" bunch of nonsense I've ever seen.
MrMZaccone 6 months ago
Politics also means NOTHING! Only science means anything where nutrition is concerned and all evidence points to human beings being properly nourished and broadly defined as omnivores.
MrMZaccone 6 months ago
"Some of the strongest animals in the world are vegan" ... When are people going to realize that animal models mean nothing. Need I point out that THE biggest strongest animal the world has EVER KNOWN (the blue whale) eats almost nothing BUT meat? What humans need to do is figure out what is genetically correct and biochemically proper for the human body to consume AND UTILIZE! and eat that and exactly that ... period.
MrMZaccone 6 months ago
When you talk sex, vegans rule.

@generatrix999 This post is so full of made up shit and logical fallacy that it's hard to believe you ARE human.

But thats what mankind's been doing best for the last 50 years isnt it?
moonsugar1 7 months ago
@moonsugar1 i agree with you on the most parts. But isnt pointing to the past when it comes ethics about food.. pretty much the same as giving a green light for another human slaughter like WW2 as well? I bet u dont wanne end up in a camp.
you are right on the rest tho. read about how macdonalds started mass producing with its concept. around 1948. everything had be so uniform and cheap, its insane. where ever u reduce costs, someone or something pays for the difference.animals&employees
AERONOOB 7 months ago
@moonsugar1 being top of the food chain means more power, and with more power comes more responsibility. Morality DEMANDS it. NO way round that.
Now, you're going to say morality is arbitrary, and it's only a human persective, BUT...it connects with and is a part of a larger Earth morality, because it's better for the environment.
Eating meat is inHERENTLY 'taking more than you nedd, because of the amunt of grain etc an animal eats in a lifetime, and the amount of animals YOU eat in a lifetime
natmanprime 7 months ago
@natmanprime I dont really get your point my friend, dont animals eat other animals as well as grain, is that inherently wrong of them too? How can it be when you quite rightly pointed out that they are acting without morality?
@AERONOOB I also dont quite get the ww2 link, but i actually just got back from camping! lol. Could'nt agree more tho, it does seems to be our way now that a light turns on in one part of the world whilst another is left in darkness.
moonsugar1 7 months ago
@moonsugar1 you cant compare us with other animals because we're the top of the chain.
THEY are trapped in their niche, their populations restricted. BBy all menas if you want our population to dwindle to that of the average carnivorous mammal, then carry on carnivorous behaviour.
We are currently around 8 billion strong.
once you go veggie, u can leave all the lights on and drive around in a humvee all day
simple maths
you reduce your impact by around 1000%
nvr mind morality

@natmanprime Thats complete rubbish and here's why..
If you get the time one night or whatever, Check this film out. /watch?v=RqDAoyzZhUQ
This is just a part of one chapter in the full Doc, which will enlighten you to the real issue facing humanity.
Infact i urge you all to watch this film asap, which can be seen here:
/watch?v=Fc90zQtUqSQ&feature=iv&annotation_id=annotation_449770
Dont take every word for gospel, look into it yourself and you'll find that its very real on your own terms.
moonsugar1 7 months ago
@moonsugar1 i have no life so i checked it this night.
ok...so we're running out of oil.
Um...that doesn't explain why what i said was "complete rubbish", nor was there a hope of it doing so, since it was a matter of basic maths (but never mind that...)
unless of course, the notion that 1) people eat alot of animals and 2)they eat alot of grain in a lifetime
are somehow wrong...
only 2 options left:
1)u have an agenda
or
2) ur in in plain denial cos u don't wanna give up your meat
natmanprime 7 months ago
@natmanprime "Once you go veggie you can leave the lights on and drive a humvee." If the whole world became vegan it would have NO impact on the real problems. Do you now understand that the majority of veg you eat is grown using ddt's and additives made from fossil fuels? The only agenda i have is to make people aware of the potential collapse, and I dont want to give up my meat because I enjoy eating it and giving it up never crossed my mind.
moonsugar1 7 months ago
@moonsugar1 haha
"I dont want to give up my meat because I enjoy eating it and giving it up never crossed my mind."
so it's denial then
the very definition of it lol
natmanprime 7 months ago
@natmanprime You have a strange definition of denial, you seem to have confused it with choice. But i dont come onto youtube to argue, I only watched this video cos im a big fan of Benjamin's work! moonsugar1 7 months ago
@moonsugar1 nothing strange about it, look: you know that people are talking about meat is bad, so u know DAMN WELL that not eating it crossed your mind as an issue. but as u say, u chose not to.
so thats denial right there
next: u don't face the plain facts that even if everythings chemically poisoned, that doesn't LOGICALLY NEGATE the fact that eating meat uses 1000s of times more grain and resources and energy, meat is unhealthy, we can't eat nothing, so you're avoiding LOGIC.
so: denial.

haa you're a meathead aren't you
u just owned yourself
anyway i finally got an answer out of you so heres my reply: u replace the meat with NUTS and beans cos theyre your PROTEIN
yknow NUTS like the ones you're sucking right now lol
natmanprime 6 months ago
@natmanprime Nice way to take me out of context, dipshit. I don't currently replace it with anything because I'm including it in my diet. Nuts and beans are no substitute for meat because the protein in them is bound in fiber and not available through human digestion. You're a moron.
MrMZaccone 6 months ago
@MrMZaccone HAHAHAHA er really proffesor?
ok then
so all the vegans should be dead by now through lack of protein prof. Zaccone

@natmanprime Actually, no. we're not finding this "shit" out for the first time. It's been examined many times, you're just ignoring the data. Your new post is as full of logical fallacies as the last one. Maybe some protein would straighten out your mental acuity and rational thinking.

@natmanprime So what do you say to a healthy, happy, athletic, non vegan, like me who has tried to be vegan and CAN'T? Whose health declines anytime meat is completely eliminated from his diet? also, u should take a vit. b+d supplement cos the soil is weak and the climate is bad

natmanprime 6 months ago
@natmanprime I've tried all that and NONE OF IT WORKED, ASSHOLE!!! Celebrities? who gives a shit! Celebrities change diets like they change shoes. Chances of some cancers go down while others go up, that's what's proven scientifically, DUMBASS! If a vegan diet works for you fine, it doesn't work for me and I tried for ten years. When I was vegan I lost muscle and gained fat. The way I eat now I gain muscle easily and lose fat. Maybe what works for one person doesn't for another?
MrMZaccone 6 months ago
@MrMZaccone hahahaa you ~CANT gain fat from fruit nuts and beans and 'non-junk food' starch
wheres the fat coming from?
hmm...
ur a lying turd
now fk off
natmanprime 6 months ago
@natmanprime De novo lipogenesis, DUMBASS! Go take high school biology again and this time pay attention when they talk about the Krebs Cycle. YOU'RE A FUCKING RETARD!
MrMZaccone 6 months ago
@MrMZaccone oh i see...so youre converting simple sugars to fat are you?
and this condition of fatness is prevented by...eating meat, which IS 50% fat?
so, professor zaccone, the cure, for lipogenesis sufferers is to eat meat ohhh, ok....
as opposed to starch, which is a complex sugar, or nuts, which have very little simple sugar...
hahahahaaaaaaaaa
still talking buuuullshit i see
natmanprime 6 months ago
@natmanprime Meat is 50% fat? What kind of nasty nightmare meat are you talking about? Meanwhile, you recommend nuts, which get 70+% of their calories from fat and seem unaware that starch begins to convert to simple sugars BEFORE YOU EVEN SWALLOW IT! Starch becomes glucose, Nuts are a great source of fat if they don't contain too much ALA and meat and other proteins stimulate glucagon production promoting lipolysis. Which, if you didn't know (you didn't ) is the opposite of lipogenesis.
MrMZaccone 6 months ago
@MrMZaccone and whats your point?
3 things can happen: either 1 its stored as protein
2 its stored as fat
3 its used as sugar.
u cant function without sugar, so u have to get it SOMEWHERE.
i know how much fat is in nuts, and how enzymes in the mouth BEGIN to break down starch. It still requires furhter braking down in the stomach by simple sugars.
so...
whats
your
point???
natmanprime 5 months ago
@natmanprime You're last post is very unclear. 3 things can happen to what? You can't function without sugar? What kind of sugar? and where do YOU think it comes from? You know how much fat is in nuts? Then why did you say "hahahaa you ~CANT gain fat from ... nuts ... where's the fat coming from?" Then you called me a "lying turd". GO FUCK YOURSELF UNTIL YOU CAN KEEP YOUR OWN LIES STRAIGHT DUMB ASS!
MrMZaccone 5 months ago
@MrMZaccone ah, prof. zaccone.
well, i meant u cant get fat from using nuts as your only source of fat, because your body will tell you when to stop. Obviously nuts have fat in them, you'd have to be an idiot to think th...oh wait u are sorry.
anyway, i meant:
3 things can happen WHEN u EAT FOOD. point being, if u have a problem with sugar u cant just avoid it, u have to take it in a responsible way.
meat breaks down as protein and fat,
beans become protein and sugar.
natmanprime 5 months ago
@natmanprime Actually, the reason it's hard to "get fat" from the fat in nuts is that it's largely monounsaturated which tends to promote insulin resistance less than saturated fats. The reason fat will "tell you when to stop" is because it stimulates secretion of cholecystokinin which is an appetite suppressant. Did you get all that? If not, start taking notes instead of pretending you know what you're talking about. You've oversimplified sugar to a kindergarten level again. WHAT KIND???
MrMZaccone 5 months ago
@natmanprime As for beans breaking down into protein and sugar, ONCE AGAIN, YOU FORGOT FIBER WHICH KEEPS THE INCOMPLETE PROTEIN IN THE BEANS FROM BEING BIOAVAILABLE AND LOWERS THE G.I. OF THE "SUGAR". The bottom line is, the more you talk the more it becomes evident that you have no idea what the fuck you're talking about. The proteins in animal products, (including meat) have a clear purpose in the human diet. Get over it.
MrMZaccone 5 months ago
@natmanprime You an hour ago - "Obviously nuts have fat in them" You a week ago - ""hahahaa you ~CANT gain fat from ... nuts ... where's the fat coming from?" Like I said, get your lies straight or SHUT THE FUCK UP!
MrMZaccone 5 months ago
@MrMZaccone hmmm...u sound very confused. why are u backing up my opinion in an informational way, and then complaining that i didnt explain it in a complicated enough way. And then getting angry about it.
And then demanding i educate you some more. "WHAT KIND??" lol
i was just making a point as to what theyre basically made of.
that's all.
i'm not saying u should get your sugar from beans or anything.
u obviously need fat to live, so why would i suggest a diet without any?
fat head
lol
natmanprime 5 months ago
@natmanprime I'm not demanding that you educate me, asshole, I'm demanding that you be clear. there are different types of sugar and they all act differently in the body. What I'm complaining about is that you exhibit complete ignorance of the subject and then when I EDUCATE YOU, you say ... "Oh yeah, I knew that." Like a three year old trying to look smart. It's not working. It's obvious that your actual knowledge of food, its effect on the body and vice versa is woefully inadequate.
MrMZaccone 5 months ago
@MrMZaccone "being clear" meaning that you wish me to elaborate. which implies that u don't already know. hence, "educating you".
i'm not saying "i knew that", i'm saying "why would you want me to explain that"?
slightly different, u know what i'm saying?
btw, i forgot to mention: beans with rice is a complete roein.
so's beans and nuts.
OR, u could eat hemp seed, which is not only complete protein, it's actualy more complete than meat itself.
now, see how my points are.... RELEVANT?
twat
natmanprime 5 months ago
@natmanprime NO. I've already explained why beans and rice do not make a complete protein for human digestion. Hemp seed has the same problem and is only bioavailable as isolates. In addition, it cannot be said to be "more complete" than meat because the proportion of essential amino acids is not correct for human nutrition, particularly branch chain amino acids.
MrMZaccone 5 months ago
@MrMZaccone what, cos of fibre? u seem to be acting like i'm the only vegan in the world, and that people havent been living on it for countless years
how long would people survive without getting enough protein ?
go to a health store and find the hemp seed.
even if your bs made sense (which it doesnt)
you still lose against REAL LIVES who are living on it RIGHT NOW, 10+ years...
according to you they should be DEAD now
btw if u thought i was a moron u wouldnt be using terminology on me, ; )
natmanprime 5 months ago
@natmanprime I'm not demanding you educate me, I'm demanding that you be clear. WHAT KIND OF SUGAR ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? Why shouldn't you get your sugar from beans? More importantly, why shouldn't you get your protein from beans? You have a childlike view of the whole process. "3 things can happen WHEN u EAT FOOD" Really? just three? Would that it were that simple. You on the other hand are exactly that simple and I'm sick of teaching a class on nutrition to an IGNORANT FUCK LIKE YOU!
MrMZaccone 5 months ago
@MrMZaccone again, you're angrily demanding that i educate you.
if you have a point to make, please make it.
*sigh* if u want to get your sugar from beans go ahead

"Raw Vegan" = Not cooking or heating food over 118 degrees, when you do heat or cook foods over 118 degrees its morphs and destroys 50-75% or all of the Enzymes, Proteins, amino acids, Nutrients, Vitamins, Minerals, + Whatever else it was carrying in it. So eat living foods to live, or eat died foods to die!

Vegetarian is the first step, but keep going!
calico992 8 months ago
@calico992 really?? i thought cheese/milk gave you calcium...pls tell me more
natmanprime 8 months ago
@natmanprime yes milk and cheese do contain calcium. Just like human-mother-milk. milk is very important shortly after birth. There is a reason why human females and animal females stop producing milk together with the slowing need of the youngster. After this start up period, animals learn from their mothers and by instint what to eat. A tiger starts eating raw flesh complete with blood and all :P, we humans get veggies from little jars, with all the calcium we need :p greatings!! :D
AERONOOB 7 months ago
@AERONOOB i looked into this alot, and it seems to need all the other vitamins to work properly, esp. d and k, it has to be double the amount of magnesium, and the calcium must be taken in small amounts at a time...but always double the amount of magnesium...
but does dairy actually leech calcium??? thas what i want to know
natmanprime 7 months ago
@natmanprime i cannot give u advise on that as a docter could do when it comes to chemical things and amounts, and ofcourse i do not wanne go give people self-made-up numbers etc. But i do understand that whatever we eat, our very long digestive-system can take everything we need out of water and veggies and fruits and nuts etc etc. I trust u did ur homework on this, so ull understand why :p greatzz

@calico992 im about 80% there :P my gf agrees with the information i show and read to her plus the tons of videos on farming. But the taste of cheese is hard to resist for her :P. vegan = ignorant
00zzzyy 8 months ago
@00zzzyy Omnivorous means that we CAN eat both plants and animals. Get your facts straight.
Flimpofloempieflomp 7 months ago
@Flimpofloempieflomp seems like you didn't even bothered reading past the first sentence...
00zzzyy 7 months ago
@00zzzyy No, i read it all. And you would have a point 20.000 years ago when a lot of food types weren't as readily available as it is now. In our day and age we can do just fine without eating meat.
Flimpofloempieflomp 7 months ago
@Flimpofloempieflomp it's not about availability.

In fact, I try to get as varied a diet as possible while keeping tight controls on the proportions of protein, carbohydrates and fats in every serving.

sujoms 10 months ago
@sujoms ok gorillas don't eat meat they sometimes will eat insects but very rarely. I played college ball bench more than 400lbs work full time and go to school full time so you know I don' t spend my days grazing like you think
toobeasty6 10 months ago
@toobeasty6 2 to 3% of the gorillas diet is insects depending on species and they spend almost all their waking hours foraging. In any case, only human models are suitable for determining proper human nutrition.

Yeah, because beautiful women are such a turn off, aren't they?
lemurdue 11 months ago
@lemurdue I guess you are referring to the chick in the vid? Sure she looks good. I didn't say they repelled people from sex, but tbh they're not doing a great job of promoting vegetarianism.
Monscent 11 months ago
@lemurdue To what "beautiful women" are you referring?
MrMZaccone 6 months ago
are gorillas really vegan? i saw a monkey cannibalize a baby monkey on the primates episode of planet earth. They weren't gorillas tho. I think they were chimps which are way less chill creatures.
S0u11ess 1 year ago
@S0u11ess : Gorillas are basically folivores but likely consume insects in the process of eating all that foliage. It takes up 50-60% of their day foraging and eating. Comparing natural herbivores and folivores to humans is ridiculous. Its an apples to oranges comparison. Humans are neither folivores nor are they herbivores so to conclude that because herbivores and folivores are some of the biggest and strongest animals in the world is completely irrelevant to the human species.
auggiedoggy 10 months ago
@auggiedoggy : I was commenting on what the man in the video said. He uses unscientific arguments to justify his lifestyle. If you want to be a vegan, fine! Just don't use silly arguments like this guy.
auggiedoggy 10 months ago
@auggiedoggy A point in your favor is that THE biggest, strongest animals on earth, whales, eat nothing but meat. It is of course as you've pointed out, also completely irrelevant.
MrMZaccone 6 months ago
@MrMZaccone : You are correct sir!
auggiedoggy 6 months ago
@S0u11ess Gorillas get 2-3% of their diet from insects depending on species and chimps are way more relevant because they're genetically and taxonomically so much closer to humans.

im vegan, i used to eat 8 chicken breasts a day to gain muscle. and it worked, but, now that im vegan, i gain MORE muscle, harder muscle, im faster, i think clearer, and...well..my dicks harder. so..i honestly think its been an amazing change for myself and for my girlfriend lol. i love being vegan. :D
dustman 1 year ago
@dustman "i think clearer" ... You mean "more clearly". "Think" is a verb. "Clearer" is an adjective. "Clearly" is an adverb. Now, go get some animal protein in your diet and learn to write clearly. Of course 8 chicken breasts a day is ridiculous, don't be an ass. That could even cause the body to break down its own muscle tissue to use protein as an energy source, depending on your carbohydrate intake.

historyofmetal 1 year ago
@historyofmetal feel free to find our for yourself, you'll see what they mean.
guitarhero666759 1 year ago
@guitarhero666759 no, i don't think i will. i don't think that i will ever be convinced that it is wrong to eat meat or dairy products.
historyofmetal 1 year ago
@historyofmetal so what you're saying is, i don't think it's wrong to deprive an animal of it's life, take it away from it's family, cut it's throat, spill it's blood and then eat and call it okay? i'm sorry but that is extremely selfish. Veganism(i'm vegetarian) is not an opinion. however you do it, killing is inhumane, just like even if a human is murdered by a shot to the head, we lock that person up in prison continued. . .
guitarhero666759 1 year ago
@guitarhero666759 no, i don't. it's not selfish, it's just the nature of life. humans are naturally designed to eat animals. is it inhumane for a lion to kill a gazelle?
murdering anything is wrong if it is for the wrong reasons. i don't think animals should be killed for no reason, but it is only natural for us to eat them.
i do agree that the methods we have of mass producing animals for meat, and i am including farming, are horrible. but hunting is something that animals do.
historyofmetal 1 year ago
@historyofmetal so why should we lock up that murderer in prison but give slaughterhouses and butchers money. they are also murderers? they are also killing living beings, beings that have feelings, have emotions, have families. what gives us the right to deprive them of that, and enjoying each others company? needlessly? this is wrong. you can't justify it. humane means showing compassion and benevolence, therefore killing is not humane. killing is not compassionate, it is not benevolent.
guitarhero666759 1 year ago
@guitarhero666759 animals are not designed to be humane. they are designed to survive.
historyofmetal 1 year ago
@historyofmetal yeah, we're not animals, we're humans. you can't compare a lion to a human, a lion doesn't have the intelligence to stop and think about whether this is wrong, whereas we do. we're not actually designed for eating meat, for example, a carnivores stomach has strong hydrochloric acids in the stomach, whereas herbivores and humans have stomach acids 20 times weaker than that of a carnivore continued. . .
guitarhero666759 1 year ago
@guitarhero666759 correct, humans do have the intelligence to stop and think whether what they do is wrong or not. but that's not the argument, i am saying that it is not wrong to eat meat because that is how nature works. and we ARE designed to eat meat. we are designed to be able to digest both meat and vegetation. we are different from most hunters because we are able to use tools to catch prey, when most animals are not. but it is still part of the fundamental design of a human.
historyofmetal 1 year ago
@historyofmetal if by "that's how nature works" you mean survival of the fittest, then according to this logic we should stop putting people in jail for killing people and stealing etc, as they are only trying to survive. "we ARE designed to eat meat" does not make it a fact, that comment requires some evidence. and our ability to use tools doesn't justify it. instinctively we're not killers, majority of people couldn't kill an animal so brutally. (continued). . .
guitarhero666759 1 year ago
@guitarhero666759 That's nonsense. Being a social species we will of course put those who are anti-social in jail just as chimpanzees sometimes gang up and kill the largest, most brutal members of their groups. Survival involves more than just individual strength and individual cleverness geared towards individual goals and this is true of animals as well as humans. Your point is idiotic. As for design ... we aren't designed, period. Historically, primitive man ate lots of meat.
MrMZaccone 6 months ago
@historyofmetal how many people could actually keep an animal in their backyard and then cut it's throat any time you want to eat meat? no one's violent instinctively, ask any child to cut a sheeps throat and watch the look on his face when he is asked to do this. as you can see it's easy to justify your desire to eat meat, but if you look at it "naturally" it becomes clearer that instinctively we're not designed to eat meat, furthermore not even perform acts of violence. it's how nature works.
guitarhero666759 1 year ago
@guitarhero666759 Humans are animals. Pick up a biology book and see what animal kingdom we're in and see who's our closest genetic relatives, typical human, so arrogant to separate themselves from nature. Humans are more closely related to a herbivore, no disagreement with you there.
SSJJackAzz 1 year ago
@SSJJackAzz well if you'd like to classify yourself as an animal then that's exactly how you will behave. There is no actual evidence of us being related to apes either, i'm sure if were to read even just a few pages of Michael Cremo's books on archaeology you will see how the mainstream ideas are false. For instance a mortar and pestle as well as other tools were discovered under Table mountain, the rock strata they were found in were dated as early as 55million years old.
guitarhero666759 1 year ago

@historyofmetal if you look at our teeth, you will see that they're not sharp, even a household cat puts our canines to shame. carnivores have more canines than molars, and have long and pointy teeth. herbivores have mostly flat teeth, and rounded jaws for grinding vegetation. carnivores have many natural hunting abilities such as night vision. a natural hunting skill humans lack is the speed and agility to catch a wild animal with their bare hands. look up for yourself
guitarhero666759 1 year ago
@guitarhero666759 The Venus Flytrap lacks any agility whatsoever, and has no teeth, claws or a brain capable of even conceiving of predation. IT ALSO EATS MEAT! Your arguments are moronic.

We spoiled westerners need to take responsibility and not consume things that harm nature and animals, things that take ridiculous amounts of resources to produce. By that I mean animal products. We have the ability to choose, lets choose the better out of the worse, for the sake of our health and our planet.

years have passed and 80% of the world's population cannot digest meat without digestive suppliments and while this is happening the human race's greatly increased flatulence blows a hole in the ozone layer so large we might have well just saved the time and killed ourselves now by clubbing ourselves to death with frozen legs of lamb...
xNewAgeWarriorx 1 year ago
Also think about what would happen if all humans were Vegan. Millions would starve in arid areas, animal populations would explode, exploitable food resources would be reduced and we'd end up killing the animals anyway to make more space for us to grow food on, the entire earth would become a farm, there would be even less free space causing populations to start to become disapproving of the new reigime but by then 150
xNewAgeWarriorx 1 year ago
@xNewAgeWarriorx I agree that all humans can't be vegan, in poor countries that is. But your arguments are just... seriously, animal populations would explode? So your argument is this - if we would not eat domestic animals we would just continue to breed them for eternity? Or if we humans would not eat wild animals they would continue to breed and their population would explode? :D You think meat production would take less land and resources than producing plant foods directly for humans?

Sustained Veganism over generations can damage the human body's ability to digest animal proteins and sugars leading to the early onset of Lactose inteolerances and dairy allergies now show me the non-hypocritical vegan solution to babies that starve because they can't absorb the calories in their mother's milk when the substitutes are animal products.

I seriously think vegans and vegetarians can be as healthy as a meat-eater, and even more...This being said, let me tell you this; EVEN IF it was impossible to be healthy without eating meat, I would still not eat meat, I`d rather live 20 years less, I`d rather have low energy and small muscles all my life, if I can save thousands of animal lives from captivity, torture and premature death, if I can preserve the environment from meat industry pollution, etc... yes, I`d rather be a vegan,GET IT?
ohouui 1 year ago 10
Vegans health problems outweighs the benifits. Low iron, B vitamin deficeincy and reduced testosterone. Not to mention its hard to scoff down nearly enough protein as a vegan without freaking out on protein shakes.
xNewAgeWarriorx 1 year ago
@xNewAgeWarriorx The lack of vitamin B12, B6, iron and protein is the only problem caused by vegetarianism. There`s nothing easier than eating a few soy meats, peanuts, beans, milk or soy milk to get back all these nutriments and even more, without the antibiotics/ herbicides/ pesticides lying in meat! No big deal, being vegetarian is easier than people think, you get healthier and you save animals from captivity, torture and premature death! ABOLITIONISM OF THE MEAT INDUSTRY!!! Haha^.^
ohouui 1 year ago 31
@ohouui You can't get those nutrients back, and of the few that you can get back it cost's way more, soy is also a shit food. How can you claim you get all those things back if you still have a defficiency.Did I mention soy is a shit food, don't eat it.Organic meat, there no Antibiotics/Cocaine/Speed in the meat.Plants also feel just as much as animals so the whole save the animals is a load of shit.
xNewAgeWarriorx 1 year ago
@xNewAgeWarriorx First, yes you can get all the meat nutrients by eating alot of other things, without killing any animals. I don't feel bad eating a peanut falling from a tree, as it`s dead, get it? Second, even biological, the animal meat is still a product, the result of a raising against the will of the animal, well treated or not, and it`s still killing it at about half of its life, which can't be defended. Third, WTF soy is shit? NO. Fourth, plants having feelings? LMFAO! bye!
ohouui 1 year ago
@ohouui Plants do feel reasearchi it dont just say ROFLMAOCOPTER IGNORE. Who gives a shit if I kill somthing, is the ethics police gonna throw me in jail.EVERYTHING EATS OTHER THINGS.Soy decreases testosterone, how is that not shit. Seriously soy is a horrible food. Its called research you POS. Not only are you doing a holier than thou bullshit argument your also just saying SOY RUELZ with no backup.
xNewAgeWarriorx 1 year ago
@ohouui So the real question is: is soy bad for you? Soy is loaded with trypsin inhibitors that prevent proper protein digestion; goitrogen which inhibits thyroid function; phytic acid, a fiber that impairs absorption of minerals; and phytoestrogens which dangerously increase the estrogen hormone.
xNewAgeWarriorx 1 year ago
@xNewAgeWarriorx The goitrogens are only active in raw soybeans, no one eats raw soybeans. Goitrogens are ingested in almost every raw vegetables though, some berries and peanuts, should we stop eating all this then? Trypsin inhibitors slow down the protein absorption, yes, but even then the absorption is equivalent to meat (Egg white has a score of 1.00, beef 0.92, isolated soy protein 0.92, and soy concentrate 0.99).
ohouui 1 year ago
@ohouui I dont eat penuts or berries. And you eat small amounts of penuts because its a fat and keeps you full, has high caloric content and digests slower. What berries...?Isolated soy protein is almost never ever eaten,Even then you get estrogen so why eat it?Never mind beef has creatine, iron and allot of other usefull things.Egg whites are not good to eat anyway, The yolk contains half the protein and and some nice saturated fat which is essential for testosterone production.
xNewAgeWarriorx 1 year ago
@xNewAgeWarriorx And the questions you ask me can easily be answered on internet, I`m tired of researching for people who will contradict me and refute all the facts I found from several different sources. thanks.
