A few points:

1) Megavideo was not shut down by SOPA. SOPA hasn't passed yet, remember?

2) Megaupload was legitimately a pretty shady business enterprise anyway. They paid people to upload copyrighted videos, for one thing.

3) If you're going to protest SOPA, don't end with, like, "pirate on, brothers!" or what-have-you. You're the reason they're trying to implement legislation in the first place.

4) Grab the popcorn and keep your head down. Interesting things are happening.

It took work to make them, so that work should be compensated. And that you can't afford to watch a movie legitimately does not give you the right to watch it illegitimately. If you can't afford a diamond ring, you do not have the right to simply take it.
