Obviously Afghans along the border with Pakistan will have mixed feelings about the death of Bin Laden,because of the Pakistani taliban influence but the Afghan's in the rest of the country are happy that he is no longer alive especially since he was in Pakistan all along and not Afghanistan. I did not agree with going into Afghanistan or Iraq in the first place. Obviously Afghans along the border with Pakistan will have mixed feelings about the death of Bin Laden,because of the Pakistani taliban influence but the Afghan's in the rest of the country are happy that he is no longer alive especially since he was in Pakistan all along and not Afghanistan. @scorpiooooooh "OBL" did not bring any American to Afghanistan, they did this themselves. There is a saying: Eye for an eye makes the world blind. By going to war with two countries, torturing prisoners and conducting a manhunt, the united states leveled themselves to the same moral standard OBL has/had. I disagree that killing "OBL" made the world better, in fact, it just added one more casualty to a already too long list of unnecessary deaths.

As for Hiroshima & Nagasaki, an invasion of Japan would have caused many American deaths, as it was, even after Hiroshima was bombed, the Japanese would not surrender. it was a declared war & everyone knew the stakes. Bin Ladin killed far more Muslims than he did anyone else. He's no "freedom fighter" he's a religious zealot with a thirst for power. Using children& semi-retarded adults to blow themselves up in a market place is not "freedom fighting
