@BubbaUnit it comes with software i find nearly useless. I dont use it or even have it installed. i just plug in my camera and click Computer>SONY>MPROOT and drag th e files to a folder

i think you need codecs. just google it. also check what format its saved as .mov .wmv cause many formats can't be used in movie maker

Ok, it can record in either 720x480(Widescreen) or 640x480, I just exported from movie maker in HD. There is and option on the camera to record in low quality (LP) or Hight Quality (HQ) but i think all that does is lower the bitrate.

zoom till moon? You would need a telescope for that. I mean, you could zoom up close to it for it to fill up the screen but you wouldn't be able to see extreme detail. And by megapixel I'm guessing you mean resolution? It records 720x480 widescreen video. But you can also record 640x480 if you want. It does 640x480 photos.

If you copy and paste the letters and stuff at the bottom of this comment to your "tags". The screen should go to the 16:9 format. It is really helpful and I use it in my video.

I just bought this camera, it works fine in the day time but at home with low lights it doesn't work that well, it's blury, you might need a cam light. Buy an Hd cam.

How do you get the video to be in widescreen? I have used various editing programs such as Sony Vegas 8 , Roxio Easy Media Creator and Magix Movie Edit Pro 12 and Movie Edit Pro 15.

I have had problems. I render a video and once it gets finished its not in widescreen. I have used camera's that shoot in 16:9 and it ends up on youtube as 4:3. I try to publish it like you said since The files I edit are 720x480 but it still ends up on youtube as 4:3 not widescreen.

I've been having the same problem. The only way I've been able to publish it in widescreen is when I publish it in 720p HD in Windows Movie Maker.

Also, you can add this code, yt:stretch=16:9, to Tags part of your and that will make yout 4:3 videos 16:9
