I'm battling with how he could have met the criteria for "criminal responsible" since there appears to be so much evidence that he is mentally unwell. I don't battle with the no trial issue, as he pled guilty. If he had pled not guilty by reason of insanity, I believe a jury would have upheld that plea, and he would have been committed to a psychiatric hospital for life. The problem with upholding that plea is that, once he is diagnosed as "recovered" or "sane", by law he is released .
