@Goodie911x it did for me. i started listening to gospel music intently and i wanted to know more about Jesus. then i sought Him out for myself and accepted Him. gospel music is able to minister to people in a way that a sermon may not ever be able to, don't underestimate it. the bottom line is that it's for the glory of God.

@Goodie911x what i said was...the music brought me to CHRIST and it does have the power to do that because it is ministry. that may not be your experience, but it was definitely mine. and i'm sure i'm not the only one. no matter, the music isn't enough-you have to study, pray and cultivate a relationship with God and that will maintain you. so seems as if you are the one who has it twisted. we all have our own journeys and may you be blessed on yours.
