Indeed, at 3:32, it is just poetic.
I was Montreal Canadiens Fan but stopped watching(or never got to deep into it) since the Organization had him sold/lost to Ottawa :( , Kovalev is a real SUPERSTAR and Pens fans are sure lucky to have The Artists ,i just wish..
4 games left to 2011 season and in Montreal not even 100th car has a Canadiens flag Mounted ,nothing like before nothing like when Kovy was around ...
The Pens management does an Amazing JOB recruiting !
@InaSimon Hey, I know this is late but thanks for wishing our team a good run. The playoff run didn't last long lol. Don't lose hope on Kovalev he could be back with the Canadiens next year, I like the guy's skill but I don't think he fits the Penguins now like he did back then. Bylsma coaches a physical, two way system and Kovy doesn't play well defensively. Plus Bylsma benched Kovy in the final minutes of game 7 while we were on the powerplay which was dumb, but that ended Kovy on the Pens.
so dirty @ 2:44. i remembered that goal when i was in middle school and have always wanted to see it again. seeing as youtube wasnt anything back then, i am happy to see it. just like i remembered it.
Kovalev for Malkin's RW in '09-'10, book it. Kovy goes UFA this offseason, and with Montreal facing an early first round exit via a sweep from the Bruins, he's going to want to be on a winning team before his retirement.
you read my mind. sykora and satan are most likely gone which takes almost $7 million off the books, kovalev signs for $3 - $4 million for a year or two
i could see him having a career resurgence, possibly even a career year playing with him
despite coming into the league at the beginning of what is now considered dead-puck hockey, it's hard to believe this guy's career high is only 95 points
One of the most talented hockey player to ever play in the NHL. This guy has such an incredible talent, gifted by god. Longue vie à toi Kovy. Le meilleur talent depuis Lafleur.
Koveee its a great sniper

Really loved this video. As a Pens fan, I really do miss him so much. That Straka-Kovalev-Lang line was the stuff of legend back in the day.

The stickhandling at 3:32 is just poetic!!!! What an unique player he is. He simply sticks out. No one can measure up with his grace and beauty.
raoulpoitras 3 years ago 4
yes youre right, he is poetic with the puck. Other players can be good with the puck but they make it look hard such as Jagr.
