I love this commercial! I just watched the original commercial, and luckily it does'nt get showed at the TV where I live!!! (Not in England/USA :) )I love this parody! It is a parody without being rude, just being clevver and eco-friendly! I so agree with you!!!
This is spot on! Every time I see that stupid Kleenex hand towel commercial, I get annoyed. We need to be discouraging the wasteful American mentality, not creating new ways to be wasteful. If you reserve your hand towel for drying CLEAN hands only, guess what? It stays clean longer! If you have kids that misuse them, just replace them with a clean one more often. Kleenex should look into making handkerchiefs. :P
@LipstickRepublican1-Yes the forests will be just fine-if mankind is wiped from the planet before we destroy it. Ever heard of deforestation?? It's very real!
not all seeds that a tree drop are guaranteed to grow. What's more important clean hands or a better world for our children, grandchildren, etc.? i'm gonna go with a better world.
I love this product! To all the lib tree huggers.... They replant trees ya know... Trees GROW BACK !! .......Get a clue ... Better yet.... Get a LIFE!
@JellyWoo1014 .... Bull..... trees continuously grow back. Seeds drop, roots grow, wind pollination, wind borne seeds, etc. etc. etc. ... There's AT LEAST 4 different ways that seeds reproduce NATURALLY WITHOUT the help of mankind. Seed dispersal. Even insects, birds carry pollen from plant to plant, flower to flower, tree to tree. Logging companies... Oil companies REPLENISH ANYTHING They Take, PLUS Some ...... so Along with the Natural process... the Forest and the Woods will be Just Fine!
@JellyWoo1014 .... Therefore, it IS a NON-Stop Process, Continual Process, Natural Process. People need to get back to nature and learn the REAL FACTS. Go for a walk in the woods. There are sprouts of ANY and EVERY Size thriving and growing beautifully with every step you take IF you know what to look for. Besides... there is NO WAY Companies would get away with NOT replenishing these days... And It's been that way for YEARS. People have GOT To Start Using COMMON SENSE and STOP Listening to BS.
@LipstickRepublican1 Yes, it is true that trees do continuously grow and are constantly replenished, but they simply do not grow as fast as they are being cut down. As for the "real facts", an estimated 3-6 billion trees are cut down each year while an average tree grows about 25 feet after 10 years. This simply isn't fast enough to "replenish" all the tree that are being cut down.
@JellyWoo1014 ... I gave you "Real Facts". You are so full of it. It depends on the "kind" of tree and Where the trees come from at that moment. It's a little more planned out than you know. You can't just generalize like that and be taken seriously. Where did you get your "facts" from??? If you KNEW ANYTHING about the way Nature REALLY Works.... you wouldn't make such a comment. I'd like to know 'where' you read you info from. Name of website or Link????
@JellyWoo1014 ...Gosh, are you THAT thick headed and argumentative that you just WON'T except facts or what? >>> If 10 years is fast to you, theres something wrong.<<< What kind of lame comment is that??? It Depends on the KIND of tree it is as to how Fast it Grows back. Trees are continuously growing back at all different rates of speed. Plus the fact that they are being replanted at all different stages and sizes. You Have NO argument......
@LipstickRepublican1 First off, you were the one who started this argument. And I got these fact from the Iowa State University so go argue with them.
@JellyWoo1014 > Not true. My first comment started off with "I love this product!" Actually I was just trying to find out the name of the song in the add then I saw all these ridiculous comments and decided to add the truth hoping it would stick with anyone with an open mind.
My info came from my own general knowledge from growing up in the country, The Forestry Commission, A Couple of Gardening sites and Yahoo. I'm usually pretty quiet if I don't have facts to back it up. Have a great day. = )
I have a "better idea". Why don't we all just get those dryers installed in our bathrooms like the ones in public restrooms? No "tree killing" or use of germy ass towels. Using the same towel, ESPECIALLY after numerous of folks using it, is nasty as hell and defeats the purpose of washing your hands. On the flipside, I do believe we need to cut back on things that aren't necessarily necessary.
yes! this is awesome, that was the first thing i was thinking when i saw thing commercial "god damn, look at all the trees they're saving on the left"

Trees do grow back....but at a slower rate then we are cutting them down.......nothing is quite that simple you know ) :
