I Have to agree with you Actar, I have a SOC Spec Evangelion Unit 00 from the rebuild of evangelion. They are definitely the best figures you can get, even better than revoltechs concidering the price.

By the way I just got my CR evangelion Asuka today. I love it! the coolest thing ive ever seen come with a magazine

Wow. That Eva Unit 2 figure you have really looks incredible. Now I'm sad I bought a lesser-quality one. I'm not a serious figure collector but NGE is my absolute favorite series so I think it might be worth buying all 3 high quality ones.

I have the Soul of Chogokin Eva 02, and I gotta agree with you, Actar. It could very well be argued that the Soul of Chogokin figures are some of the best figures you can buy. While they are quite expensive, they're more worth it than two 45$ Revoltechs.

Also: Actar, can I make some recommendations for figure reviews? I'd love to see reviews for the Chogokin Eva figures you already have, as well as a review for the new Billy Herrington figma that was just released.

Indeed, I personally was blown away by how great these figures were. Definitely, no other EVA figure can compare.

Oh, if you are planning on getting the SOC EVA 01, be sure to get the Renewal Version as that one is a re-release, improving on and removing almost of the original figure's flaws. (^.^)

That's harsh for something small and free. With a reduction in size, details have to be sacrificed. Besides, it looks much better in person.

Sort of free, you still have to buy the magazine. It's not really details that are the issue, it's that the proportions are now distorted. I'm very critical of that kind of thing (I'm an artist).

Nice review Actar. No surprise that you're a fan of Asuka. Personally, I like Rei better since she matches my personality slightly better than Asuka does. Also, I'm glad you finally showed one of the SOC Eva figures. I really wanna get my hands on one of those for Unit 01, my favorite Eva and one of my favorite mechs.
