I believe the flag at the end says Pitagora Suicchi (which is what the voice at the end says) or Pythagoras Switch in English. It's the name of a Japanese educational show. You can find rube goldbergs from that show on here if you search "rube goldberg japanese".

One question: Isn't the whole point of one of these the surprise of what's going to happen? So, why introduce the whole machine on the video before executing it? It's pretty obvious what's going on as you see it.

The flag says ピタゴラスイッチ, or "Pitagora Suitchi" (which is also what is sung at the end). It means "Pythagoras Switch" which is the name of a Japanese educational TV program. wikipedia has more information.
