This is a wired GE/Mr Christmas also, but I tried using as many L.E.D. light sets as I could to try and keep an overload from happening.
I actually plugged in multiple sets to each channel before stringing them to the house, to see how many sets I could 'get away with' before blowing the fuse. Then just used one set less for each channel.
I've heard of people adding a 20 or 30 Amp Fuse to replace the original (but not advised by safety standards) still it has worked for others.
@forunede1 : I would So love to do the Roof, However the elevation is over 2,200ft above sea level and the snow usually sets in and stays until late March each yr. Already now in early Dec. we have over 8 inches on the roof.
Plug Pattern was easy... Hooked a set to each outlet, watched them for a bit...LOL Took notes about 'most common Vs. least used' outlets. Then just reversed the pattern for the Mini Trees.
which system?
I use the wired GE/ MR Christmas and it always wants to blow a fuse.
Thinking of getting their wireless kit.
