  • @TheBluehotdog hi! you can always send me a message of youtube!

  • I have a question.....which is off topic but whats on tv in japan is there western movies or shows there?

  • @ThaColumbusKid oh yeah alll the time you can find shows from america or movies with subtitles too,

  • 30 bucks a week for food? That's roughly 11,000 yen/mo. You sure about this number? Most people on GaijinPot say that 40,000 yen/mo is the bare minimum to survive. (without taking into account going out, drinking, etc)

  • @fckzzz This was on my experience but I can break down for you what I would buy for 1 week worth, and this does not take into account going out to eat with my friends, just stricty groceries

In my neighboorhood you can buy a pack of eggs for 110 yen on sundays and a loaf of bread with 10 slices for about 190 yen, so that was my breakfast everyday baisically or ceral which costed about 300 yen a box, and milk that was like 200 yen for a carton,

  • @fckzzz then I would buy chicken breasts 2 for 2 or 3 dollars and I would buy about 4 for a week so that was about 1300 yen. Then I would buy some veg tofu, tea, and juice all for about 1200 yen as well, so that was basically breakfast and dinner for each week and I used to eat lunch in my school caf for about 400 yen a day or so so that was like 2000 yen a week ontop of that, Then of course sometimes I would eat out too and usually had one big bag of rice that was like 4000 that lasted monthly

  • @Eyobe1 So yeah I could say it was more like 5000 or 6000 yen a month

  • thanks lot for the video. informative and inspiring as always!

  • did the university you went to had a hospitality and tourism program ?

  • @simpson3821 no it didn't I believe
