more like the bob dylan meets the plain white t's at a kooks concert. with that said. It wasnt bad. I wasnt blown away or anything. If you want to compare yourself with John Mayer makes sure you make it more jazzy/bluesy and make it more complicated chords and add some walkdowns/little riffs in it.  I dont really see the jack johnson in it. JJ is more palm mutes and mellow crisp riffs and jazz chords.

voice 8/10 guitar 6/10 look 7/10 lyrics 6/10 overall 6.5/10 with room for improvement.

Hi, the singing is pretty good, but you must learn better guitar (make it interesting, the chords are very standard, and the strumming also). Especially if you look up to mayer (on of the living guitar gods), you could make it alot more interesting, but you have a great start here. Good luck!

i like the tune, but the you need to supplement your voice with the guitar more consistently at the beginning... you use very simple chords and then suddenly more complex chords but then fall back into simple later... make the transition once not multiple times. and since you play really well, i'd go for the more complex arrangements

Listen to any song and you'll learn that rhythm guitar is just the same chords over and over again. Understanding, or rather assuming from your name that you're more into jazz guitar, then you must also take into consideration that jazz and blues guitar is a lot different then alternative acoustic.
