I had the honor of knowing Steve, granted i wasn't as close to him as Toyah was but i did consider him a friend, when Toyah called me to inform me what had happened i was shocked saddened and pissed all at the same time. I understand depression. I just don't understand why you would call someone for help, then refuse their help. It completely contradicts the point of calling. He knew he was going to kill himself and called for what exactly? I'm just confused by his motives with that. And for anyone who says I don't understand depression. I'm bipolar and was chronically depressed for years...so don't say i don't know what i'm talking about.

I can understand his pain. To his family, you should have done things to prevent this from happening, but you let it get to that point. It IS your fault for not recognizing the signs of depression and helping him out before it was too late. It is ALL your faults, and you SHOULD feel bad.

My father killed himself and then my mother attempted to kill herself twice. I was 12 at the time and on the second try, she tried to take me with her. I will never forget that and I can feel people's pain deeply because of this. When you have a friend or relative hurting, stay by them. Don't let go whatever you do. Hang on tight. You could see the pain in his face through the photos. I'm sorry for your loss.

I would have handled it differantly also. He wouldnt have stayed though, he had a plan and nothing anybody said or did was going to change his plan. first I had to go to the sherrifs office and fill out some paperwork for a background check on myself. Then I had to go infront of a county judge and state why i wanted it, steves family, The Western States College of Performing Arts among others gave the judge referances of my intent. Then I had to talk the 911 dispatcher and her boss to Ok its release. 4 months later I got the cd of his last call
The thing that the public doesn't know (since this is your freedom of speech bandwagon that we are all a part of now, thanks) is that minutes before this man shot himself, YOU told him that if he was going to do it to call 911 because you did not want to clean up his mess. The thing that the public doesn't know (since this is your freedom of speech bandwagon that we are all a part of now, thanks) is that minutes before this man shot himself, YOU told him that if he was going to do it to call 911 because you did not want to clean up his mess. What a friend you are! Now you are publicizing the call YOU told him to make. You must be proud.

This is definitely a selfish act. "Here's to those who wish ME well" says it all. This man's friends and family will see and hear this and I can't even imagine the hurt they will feel. I knew "of" Steve and the overwhelming sense of nausea when I heard this was horrible.

I cannot believe what I just saw. I know the dispatcher that took this call and you have done nothing but cause more harm than good. Terri, yes that is your name. Terri Bennett. You are a sick individual who needs mental counseling and a moral check. Steve would have NEVER wanted this to be put out there. You are an attention monger and maybe trying to make yourself feel better about your own suicidal tendencies??? You need to get help before you ruin more innocent lives.

Oh dear MZ Lori Fraiser, how many accounts are you going to open just so you can play games? If you knew anything at all you would know that the dispatcher and my self have met and had a good long cry together she also agreed to do a peice in the documentary we have been working on for a year.tsk tsk tsk Lori.. Its sad that you are so out of the loop that you have to make things up.

PS..Thanks for your concern of my mental health. dont worry about me I have learned all kinds of great copeing skills so I stay upon this earth. Im not ashamed to say that I have been to that point of almost pulling that trigger and if you knew anything you would know that issue is covered by many ppl in the documentary..now go away lil jealous one

You've done everything that Steve hated .. And I must say " gaining popularity " is a very good way to sumerize the intention, because no one in their right mind would've posted that on youtube, Steve's page, and probably yours for the whole world to see & hear. Thanks for leaving him naked for the whole world to see . I'm sure he's proud. You should be ashamed for the exploitation that you've done.. I hope no one gets hurt after seeing all your video's .. BTW those suck

This was unnecessary.If you knew Steve, you would know that he was a very private person. To exploit him in this manner,only shows sickness. You've made mockery of him. You took a persons life for your own self gratification . This 911 call doesn't help anyone other than those who are guilt ridden.Your not a suicide advocate, you have glamorized suicide. I sure wouldn't want that on my conscience .Seek professional help because this was sick
