I think the general point of all this is, that you cannot successfully outlaw thought. All ideas, good and bad should be available for approval or condemnation. The "marketplace of ideas", will rate them as they deserve, in accordance with their value to culture.

Furthermore, as you may or may not know, books are not to be made illegal in the Netherlands, so the Koran, even as it may have some hatefull passages, will never be more illegal than Mein Kampf (which if, ofcoure, also legal in the Netherlands). Egypt is now apparently complaining about a book that Freedom Party leader Geert Wilders plans to publish in the spring.

There is a law that prohibits blasphemy in the Netherlands, and there's a kind of general consensus that says that freedom of speech does not equal freedom to offend, which is why this man was prosecuted.

A spokesperson for the Dutch Foreign Ministry says various issues were discussed at the meeting on 21 November including the publication of Mr Wilders book. The ambassador told the Egyptian authorities that freedom of speech is a right in the Netherlands and everyone is at liberty to write a book. Muslims seem unable to comprehend this freedom.

One has to wonder why the police would have to involve itself over an issue involving anything being taught at school. Were the Muslim parents’ reactions so volatile that the police had to be called?
The situation came to a head when, according to Muslim representatives, the teacher was not teaching islam" properly", by not emphasizing the proper "respect" and unilateral demands of the Koran.

For the record, Finnish schools allow for religious instruction, always have, but Islamic teaching in public schools is a relatively new phenom. Mustafa Kara was the one who stated on Finnish TV during an “Islam night” discussion that “the demand for sharia law in Finland is not yet the right time”. He noted that the size of the Muslim community in the UK-" WOULD CORRELATE TO THE DEMANDS FOR SHARIA".

Islamisation is a big lie, the beliefs of antisemitism have been replaced with anti muslim beliefs, i believe there was a person who said that jews were plotting to to take over the world and i believe someone is saying the same thing about muslims today. i'm not saying wilders and this clown above will go as far as Hitler to prevent the muslims from "flooding europe" but i think it's very dangerous to say things about a group of people in such a crude and condemning way.

keep your friends close, but keep your enemy's closer. We all follow the discussion, but when i comes too close, we have to interfere. so instead of posting a video without any usefull documentation or arguments we can discuss, and without the hope that 433,540 people thought the same "googled statements" please use your time to go on a trip to holland to see how we are really like: nothing of the nonsense you have spilled.

discriminated about believes, skin, haircolour, sex, sexual preferences and everything else that has no importance at all. what matters is that we can only judge someone for what he does. a rotten personality, filled with hate, agression, pessimism and distortion. these people are the leaders of discrimination, and yes we have puppets like that, you guys have them too. We just have to be aware they don't take control and seize power.

They are hard working people with a good job, a nice and friendly family and still they talk about racism. everyday. I am dutch and i do agree that there is too much racism in our country.
