  • (287brodie) ha ha ha very funny u no why because i did work for NASA and i was looking at planets like UR ANUS and if i was u i cut down on the big macs

  • I dont really think its a 90 i think its a 50 u should also get some graphics its a nice boat

  • Its not a 90 it doesn't even look like a 50 im a thundercat genius

  • @287brodie ,

    You sound like a genius!

With such keen eye sight your wasted writing in this forum, maybe you should work for NASA looking closer at the planets like YOUR-ANUS :)

  • so tell me this (0 tiller is this really like a 50 suped up t 90 or is it a bone stock 90 hp?? and like to know why the hell makes a 90 tiller other then Mercury???

  • @welderman27

The tiller is from the wreckers, it is a bone stock 90 Yamaha, just a cheap one.

Mercury make a hydraulic tiller assembly that you can use to tiller steer upto a 200hp donk!

  • @gekkofromhell I know a 200 mercury big tiller I think they call it, unbelieveable but I guess you could pretty much put a tiller on anything if you want

  • fuck music i will hear the sound from the boat

  • Whoa you crazy mutha - 90hp on a tiller!!?

    Is there much torque reaction?

Looks like good acceleration - nahhh, I'm still shaking my head, a 40 is bad enough.

  • @jonnyzz139

haven't been on for a while...

There is heaps of torque steer, after thrashing it hard for about 5-10minutes you need to stop as you can't hold on any longer. Your forearms blow out.

I had a steering damper on it that helped heaps and I'm in the process of getting another one fitted it's the only way to drive it...

  • Hey Kaii,

Only advice I have is if you want to race, the lighter the better, spend money on a prop, it will cost you but it is worth it (it will probably cost about $1000) otherwise you won't be competitive. If you intend to race off shore (long distance) a longer hull will be better, like a zapcat.

I would advise to spend the money on the motor and prop, a shit hull will work, a shit motor won't.

When racing you will only use a tiny tank like a 2lt tank. For fun I use 2 x 25 litre.

    Have fun

  • @gekkofromhell

Sounds pretty mad bro. Like 103 days till i get my boat licence and I can get my cat. Parents are paying for it. Any advice on what brand? Or if I should get a zapcat with a 30 or a fullsized with a 50? Im just worried about fuel and how long I can go out for really.

    Cheers.

  • holy shit man. how much is that thing worth?

I mean 90hp with tiller steer isnt a factory thing so it would of cost a bit to convert it

  • @KaiiTheCamper

    Hey mate,

    Thanks for the comment,

It really is pretty cheap, I modified the tiller myself, a stainless extension and the internals are just lever extensions, a bit of threaded bar and it's done. I am looking to get one of the big manufacturers to supply a new engine, this one is old and tired, I reckon I will get about 115-120km/h with a new rig.

    Lets see how we go.

Hey thanks for looking at the vid. I hope it's inspirational. The boat goes awesome have raced a few jet ski's.

  • @KaiiTheCamper ,

Mate, it was a pretty cheap project.

The motor is a second hand old Yamaha 90,

The tiller is from the wreckers with modified linkages I did myself - it's a pretty easy job.

The motor is still about 1000rpm from max as it is old and tired and the prop needs to be worked slightly as it is a standard prop.

with a new motor and prop should do 60mph

The problem with the 90 is it's electric start and if the boat flips, which it will one day, it will be a nightmare to start.

  • @gekkofromhell

Same starting problem here. Just try not to make him flip.

However i'm trying it a other way to get some speed. I've tuned a 2 cyl 50 hp omc engine and I'm looking for a sst45 lower unit to get some speed. After that a nice cleaver will do the job... I hope

  • The alloy engine plate has been filed smooth on the edges and won't cut, but if you hit it hard it will definitely break your hand.

    Thanks for viewing the video.

  • the part where the transom height is increased looks like the metal would cut your hand off or at least slice your wrist open if you accidently shanked it !

  • check this with mercury 55 hp

68 mph ... the boat made in china only 1200 USD

  • doesnt seam like a 90 tbh

  • yeh
