Safari is a very good browser, but it lacks professional features like establishing a connection for a code input into a server. So if I want to hack anything, I have to Firefox. Of course Safari and Firefox are pretty much the same for a normal user like you. Safari might be a little better though...

so you can use the internet explorer rendering engine in safari? you can save your tabs, you can choose from tons of themes, use piclens (on windows), custom adblockers, speed dial, etc. plus more addons every day. safari is good, but not if you want the custom experience that ff3 provides.

I've tried Safari. It's fast, but its not very customizable. If you want speed just get Opera it's just about as fast as Safari and is way more customizable. I usually use Firefox or Opera, hardly ever IE.

get your facts straight, IE is faster than firefox and is generally more compatible with most webpages. also, IE has add-ons too like IE7Pro which gives IE some of those cool features firefox has. I admit IE doesn't block all pop-ups and has many problems, but firefox is just a new fad that isn't that great.

Dude, IE takes about a second longer to boot up on my PC than Firefox and takes a lot longer to load pages. Even though Firefox doesn't pass the acid2 test, it still performs better than on IE. I'll admit I'm looking forward to IE8, but IE7 and any other previous version of IE suck. Look how long it took them to get tabbed browsing!
