I live in Arkansas and let me tell ya... that trooper took his own life in his hands by issuing a ticket to a Huckabee. People wind up dead here if you piss off the political machine. Just ask all the widows from Clintons time as governor.

In Arkansas, we have a move over law that requires all drivers to move to the outside lane (or lanes) when approaching an emergency vehicle with their emergency lights activated. If you fail to do so the fine is pretty hefty..it was created due to all the deaths occuring on the sides of our interstates by people getting struck by careless drivers. If moving to the outside lane is impossible then it is ok...just slow down. I think the guy was trying to avoid a possible citation.

Being a state trooper is a highly political job and it means you work for the governor. For you to pull over the governor's wife, issue a citation, and enforce the law fairly given the situation brings him enormous integrity. Especially if it could put your job at risk. Good job Trooper Blackmon.
